Pussycat I fire the same challenge that I issued to Raider. Provide evidence that the link that Beau provided is wrong. If it is wrong then there should be other evidence along with your reliance on the unreliable RegionalTam.

All opinion sites/forums.

You seriously want us to use those links as facts? My god, how are any of those links any different to you or Raider saying SoO rated such and such here?

Nothing from the official source for regional tv ratings? Oh that's right, they haven't been released or posted yet. Silly me. ](*,)

What is Regional TAM?
Regional TAM Pty Limited is a joint venture comprising the 5 FTA regional commercial networks – NBN Limited, Prime Television Pty Ltd, Seven Queensland, Southern Cross Broadcasting Pty Ltd, and WIN Corporation Pty Ltd.

Collected and marketed by Nielsen TV Audience Measurement, Regional TAM data is the official television audience measurement (TAM) of Free-To-Air and Subscription television viewing in the five aggregated regional markets and 19 component sub-markets on the eastern coast of Australia.

Regional TAM television ratings information is designed to be an independent, reliable and transparent audience measurement system that provides the currency by which television is bought, sold and evaluated. The audience data is used by a range of parties such as television networks, advertisers, media buyers and program suppliers to aid them to understand viewer behaviour, and in assessing programme or network performance.

So where is SA, WA, NT and Tasmania? THAT is why RegionalTAM is unreliable. You are also referring to a subsidiary of AC Neilson. Beau's link referred to the core product.

And what about the link from the Sydney Morning Herald? (Beau, where's that link?)

Regional Tam monitors regional TV stations. - not locations. For example, Tasmainia ~ Southern Cross Tasmania.

TV stations are in locations - or didn't you know that? RegionalTam only counts the regionals in Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland. That's the eastern coast.

What did you get for geography at school, Pussycat?

I didn't do Geography. Tasmania are included , and WA have been included since the end of last year.

Tasmania and WA are NOT included. The eastern coast is the three mainland eastern states ONLY. You have certainly proved that you didn't do geography. I did and I passed with ease.

I repeat - WA NOT included!

For 2010. But were arguing about State Of Origin 3 that was on a couple of weeks ago.

The article I posted says that Regional Tam added WA from September 2010.
