All but 1 AFL game has been over by half time [-( How would they practice that sort of stuff at training :hmm: Why would teams be tanking during the finals?
Dunno

And aside from the great defence and mistake free and largely penalty free footy, last nights match also had two almost full length of the field tries, one of the best wingers tries you'll see, a fight and plenty of massive hits.

Fred is an imbecile to ignore.
yet STILL got beaten in the ratings!

Clearly theres a pattern here. Boring one-sided AFL finals are still more interesting than exciting NRL finals
The parra match got beaten in ratings by gws west coast in Sydney?

Can you provide us with the evidence there nlol? I'm almost certain that NSW/Sydney tv ratings for the match would've been a whitewash for the NRL.

So provide us with ur evidence rather than whooshing urself into a tizzy nlol me boy.

Meanwhile back on topic!

The average points difference in this years AFL finals series so far?

A whopping 45 points!! that's eight goal whoppings, and that's the AVERAGE!

FuuuuuuuUUUUuuuuuck  should we even be calling this a finals series in the AFL? Hardly deserves that status does it my AFL fans?

So far I'm pretty sure the finals series has been more lopsided than any one regular season round of AFL footy.

You heard it all first from KE folks! :\:

Yet still more people prefered to watch. The second half of the gws west coast was far more enjoyable than the cowboys game as it was a pretty boring most of the time. To much run and stop, run and stop, repeat repeat kick. It can have its moments... usually to do with a try ... but let's face it... it's very simple game. A close game does make it interesting at the end for sure.... it's just the mundane leading up to it.

And proof of this ...more people preferred to watch the lopsided AFL game as even that was seen as better than watching the close nrl game. Nrl lift your game!!!

Oh dear Fred, this is one of your most hopelessly desperate posts.

You didn't even watch all of both games so ur just dribbling shit and I'm afraid facts are facts, the AFL finals series of 2017 has been a blowoutathon!

No one of significance in the industry is saying what you and the other dumb AFL fans are saying in this thread Freddy. But more and more well known AFL people and journos are picking up on what I've been saying for 7dayd!

Eat shit and pray for a half decent game of AFL this weekend.

Yes they were a blowout ... but even a blowout was more interesting to me then blokes running into each other for most of the night. I saw one good intercept on replay... what's that ... 60seconds . Then yawn yawn yawn ... run 5 metres, tackle, play the ball , run 5 metres , tackle .... yada yada yada. As I said when something interesting happens like a try all good ...but not always .... and the last minutes when it is close are always good ... but for the majority of the game it's slow and tedious. But I will be watching the storm ... or parts thereof on Friday night. 7 out of 10 times I turn over someway in as it's the run tackle run scene rip. I flip back and usually no score 15 minutes later. Fill rugby l with more tries like the storms 10 sets of hands the week prior... bring back a bit more tough stuff and people may start attending again and ratings may starting arresting their decline.

well we've certainly had a fair few one sided finals this year, but nothing compares to the storm 30-0 smashing over the broncos in the prelim. The storm, who overwhelmingly won the NRL minor premiers in record fashion from what I hear.

LOPSIDED! LOL

 .... ....

Howdy folks! Well I started this threadio nigh on three weeks ago now... And I thought it must be time I deliver another educational update to Ye all members and guests.

Three weeks ago (during round 1 finals) I pointed out a disturbing fact... The AFL 2017 finals matches were awfully, dreadfully , and I quote "pieces of ..." ... "dogshit"

And I was correct.

Well, now we are into week three. And KE's assertion, awareness and prediction has come awfully true for our AFL fans. Yet another absoluuuuute shooooiiiilllaaaaaaacking!

I mean 10 goals +!!!

:(/

Meanwhile the NRL experienced its first blowout with the Melb storm dominating a woeful Brisbane in the second half. Both teams I don't like and Melbourne (bar ado Carr) are the most boring team to don a jersey. So meh.

So in total now we have both codes having played 7 matches.

NRL 6 thrillers 1 blowout
AFL 6 blowouts 1 thriller

And on a side note the average winning margin in the 2017 finals now stands at .... :o Wait for it ...... Drum roll please....... :o :o A whoppppping .....49points!!!!

:(/

Don't ever doubt me

:\:  :\: :compress: :bounce: :compress: :\:  :\:
