I think if you judge a game by thinking they should do what your used to in your sport you're probably missing the point.

You,re missing the point pal. RL actually has a national team that plays games. The AFL and NFL have merit teams only. So does the NRL but they also have a bona-fide team that plays internationals. Simple really.

no, the point of the thread was to discuss who the AFL All Australian team plays. I gave examples of national teams that dont play anyone.
