The figures are pretty much what you expect for the AFL, RL and cricket. The interesting parts are that the FFA's revenue is -36.5% - that's gotta be a worry - the ARU doesn't make the list - and Penrith RL is the biggest football club in the country with revenue a whopping 59 mill more than second placed Collingwood.

It's interesting that Penrith is classed as accomodation and food services whilst the other sports are classed as Arts and Recreation. Does this reflect the primary source of income/type of business. No doubting Penrith is a massive business and money making machine and a great model in supporting financially the football club. No wonder some afl clubs have tried to go down this route as a stream of revenue.

the only reason why penrith is listed is because of their mini casino, that was brought with Jame Packers money thanks to Phill Gould

Well looking at AFL clubs, the one's that I would describe as 'Massive' are healthy in every area, finances, sponsorship, fans, members, and crowds. If the Panthers have a successful business model but struggle to attract support I wouldnt call that massive

when I described MASSIVE I was referring to LIC's info regarding Packer and Panthers>>

Panthers were massive (not footy club but the Business holdings they have)

and no they are not the biggest footy brand in Sydney

Gee pal do you ever stick to the point of a thread. It's about company revenue. Penrith had 60 mill more than the second club Collingwood. That's an astounding result. Attendances and membership are the subject of other threads. Go over there if you want to bring them up.
