Rugby League, the dominant force in Australian sport!

A retweet from the Wagga Wagga Daily Advertiser???? Desperate or what??? I suggest you start retweeting The Betoota Advocate as well.The_Wookie wrote: Wed Jul 12, 2017 10:04 amIll note that Footy Industry hasnt publushed any articles besides a brief note on Origin selling out, since the crowd summary on july 10th.
You are obviously working off the twitter feed, which is simply retweets of industry related news posted today - nothing was scoured.
Its further worth pointing out to you- yet again - that Footy Industry has a specific task of covering the crowds, ratings, memberships, sponsorships and fnancials of football competitions. I do extend this to womens competition development from time to time - including rugby league and union.
What industry doesnt do is post warm and fuzzy articles about origin - or anything - simply because they are published.
Get it right son.

and yes we have heard the same story some games overlap and played at same time..
but as mentioned
Better having 2 games on FTA around Australia at same time Hitting 1 mill
than 2 NRL FOX games hitting 250k each...
works in AFL favour

Sure. But its also better having 2 isolated fox games getting 500k between them than getting 250k when shown together. Repeat that for 8 of your 9 fox games and the total is significantly effected. So claiming the AFL have more games is not even close to the true story

Re: 2017 - Australian Football TV Ratings - AFL, AFL Womens etc (Rolling updates in OP)
yes but it helps how you can offload 2 games to FTA networks.
say Port v Lions at same time 130k in Adelaide 15k in Brisbane on FTA
say St Kilda v Bombers into Melbourne say 280k on FTA
Excluding regionals...
and both on FOX at same time which "YES" number is reduced
due to being played at same time..
but it actually has increased the figure with multiple cities
instead NRL way of scheduling being exclusive to FOX>> where it is limited.
if you didn't have FTA into other home cities, I would say yes 100% effected.

AMAZING that the NRL can go neck to neck with a 7 games to 9 games.

wrog. Excluding NZ doesnt exclude a game as Australia's ratings for the game involving the warriors is still included. It excludes ratings in another countryleeroy*NRL* wrote: Wed Jul 12, 2017 3:05 pmdepends which way you look it though,NlolRL wrote: Wed Jul 12, 2017 2:55 pmI think what he's saying is we are Australian so we dont care what sport NZ watch. By excluding NZ RL is only effectively getting ratings for 7 1/2 games a week. That's the equivalent of 9 games less thus far this season or a 56 game advantage to the fumbling game so far.
Add in tonights ratings of around 4 mill, plus another 4 mill when the poor little fumbling boys go home to mamma for the bye weekend, plus extra FTA games as Leeroy said, plus World Cup at end of year and RL will absolutely obliterate the fumbling games ratings with or without NZ ratings and will still have played many less games. That'st the facts. Sorry to disappoint ya pal!!
