:blahblah: .......but but....SOO. :blahblah: that's all we hear from you mob.

Then again, don't blame you, that's all you got.

Lets face it, we hit good figures whether its tv rating or crowd audience nearly every week, if not every week.

Your mob does it couple of times a year.

Also, Wookie how many people tuned in, in Sydney PTV and FTV on last nights epic match.

That comment explains it right there. The fumblers are gonna high five and back slap about 60k FTA viewers for the Swans but RL supporters aren't allowed to crow about 3.5mill ratings for SOO. It's kindergarten level jealousy.

As for 'that's all you got': the NRL comp. averages about 4 mill a round with 8 games - your argument/bias is demolished.

lol demolished, that's you guys, every week.

lol 8 games? what about on average yearly? nationally compared to AFL, nothing.

Mate, we aren't raving on about the not so high FTA viewers in Sydney for swans matches, we cover up for it in PTV, crowds, memberships and profit.

Its quite funny, you love to try and get the superior code of AFL at every desperate chance you can get with the most smallest of things, yet I think you should focus more on your NRL and your fail of a club west tigers.

Lets talk about them :(/ don't you worry too much about the AFL, they doing fine.

We had 1 match over 3million, you had zero, zilch, nada.

Not counting Origin I think weve have 9 games over 1m. Our test works out at 1.6m. The 3rd highest rating game this year. At club level there's been just 1 over 1.2m and a couple more over 1.1m :thumbleft:

I can understand why you fumblers would be jealous, and I can fully understand were your coming from. AFL don't have these top rating matches, well 1. And you people want to set up your own imaginary little world, somewhere far, far away from reality. A world where only club matches exist. So when someone mentions the word Origin , you can plead ignorant or say, '??? What in the fuck is that???
So it looks to me like you tossballers have conceded your NRL comp is no match for the AFL and the only fair comparison is now Australian RL v AFL comp.

If thats the case the AFL is still ahead on the 1 game v 1 game comparison 12-5 given your international beat our home and away game. We are also ahead 16 v 9 on the games over 1m. Our ratings are also up on last year while yours are free falling.

So even when we include your rep games it looks bad for you

The swans were 63k plus around 30k on Fox and 34k at the ground. All up over 120k. The NRL was 204k, 6k at the ground, and maybe 60k fox. 120k v 270k isnt really that big a lead given Sydney is supposed to be RL heartland

Fri STV #AFL #FoxFooty #AFLSwanDons National 298k: Metro 241k (Syd 46k Mel 118k Bri 17k Ade 27k Per 33k)

So the Swans rated 109k on TV and had 34k at the ground. Total = 143k people from Sydney supporting the Swans.

Total ratings for the game
Fri TV #AFL #AFLSwanDons Seven 449k (Mel 360k Ade 89k) 7mate 192k (Syd 63k Bri 32k Per 97k) + 298k STV + 214k regional = 1.15m

NRL was Fri STV #NRL #FoxLeague #NRLTigersTitans National 201k: Metro 142k (Syd 77k Mel 16k Bri 43k Ade 2k Per 4k) + Fri TV #NRL #NRLTigersTitans Nine 337k (Syd 204k Bri 133k) + 30k gem + 245k regional = 813k

#updated Fri TV #NRL Nine 337k (Syd 204k Bri 133k) Reg 211k (Qld 85k NNSW 67k SNSW 59k), GEM Metro 25k (Mel 11k Ade 5k Per 9k) Reg 8k + 201k STV = 782k

NRL FTA regional was only 219k compared to AFL regional of 201k

#updated Fri TV #AFL #AFLSwanDons Seven 449k (Mel 360k Ade 89k) Reg 138k (Vic 86k Tas 52k), 7mate Metro 192k (Syd 63k Bri 32k Per 97) Reg 63 = 1.14m

Same shit as usual by the fumblers .
& now wookies joined the idiot fest .
The fumblers love to point out the affected crowds etc during SOO.
Crowds were shit before Origin. They are shit during Origin. And they'll be for shit after Origin.
Yet hypocritically discount any positives .

We accept the negatives associated with having a multitier sport with a rep scene .
We also celebrate the positives.

You dumb fucks can't have it both ways .
If you point out ordinary crowd figures or ratings then we can point out the good crowd figures & ratings .

What a sheltered little world they live in .
Actually, you DONT accept the negative, you distract from it. And thats the problem. Its about context. We get it - Origin ratings are good and the crowd was good. What we want to know is why your fucking league ratings are for shit and your crowds are for shit. But instead of discussing that all you do is point at Origin.

WE KNOW ABOUT FUCKING ORIGIN. It doesnt explain the rest of your fucking crowds and ratings. Rep games draw upon the support of an entire state, and the viewership of the entire country on a night when no other sport is being played - I cant fucking wait for it to be on a stand alone weekend against other sport. It is not comparable to club ratings by any stretch except in your own fucking minds.

You fuckers come in here and its like wow look at the ratings for origin in Melbourne and then try to pass it off like it fucking matters in the overall sense, when the reality is it means fuck all. You fuckers come in here with your 80,000 Origin crowd - never mind the fact that the AFL gets crowds bigger than Origin for regular season matches - but are somehow cool with constantly having sub 10,000 crowds all fucking season on a Friday night, when not even A-league folks would want that.

And WE live in a sheltered world??? Fuck off back to LU if you want sympathy. Im not your fucking dad. And ive had it with your "but look over there! its Origin" crap as an answer to everything.

its like comparing apples with a fucking watermelon.
Epic rant Wookie. Now for the facts:

NRL crowds are down 2%. Totally understandable when you factor in 7 weekends of torrential rain when games were played. As I have explained on numerous occasions on this site - RL crowds by world standards are very good. FB crowds, per head of population, are world leaders and have been for decades. Congratulations.

RL ratings are down 10% overall, mainly in Sydney. Explainable by 4 of the 5 best supported Sydney clubs being in the bottom 8 and the Wests Tigers being pathetic, coming last, but continually on FTA broadcasts. FB's ratings are slightly up, congratulations.

SOO is, year on year, in the top 5 ratings programs annually in Aus. and will be this as well. I'm sorry you don't like that, I'm sorry RL folk celebrate that, I'm sorry you and your fumbling mates have annual meltdowns during SOO. I'd say grow up.

Conclusion: By the end of the year RL will once again have ratings millions higher than FB. FB will have crowds twice the number of RL - congratulations. When crowds and ratings are added together it will reveal that more eyeballs were on RL live and TV than were on FB. Same as last year.

That's the facts. I now await exaggeration, obfuscation, lies, deception and emotional claptrap from you and your fumbling zealot mates.

Good luck and Gods speed.

tell me, how many negative rl stories - that I wrote, not the news headlines i gather from all over - are there on my website right now fuckwit?
You have a beautiful turn of phrase Wookie. I particularly like the continual use of 'fuckwit'. Very Shakespearian.

Now to the point: You thankfully don't write many stories. What you do is cherry pick all the positive FB stories and post them and all the negative stories about any other sport and post them.

If you need assistance to be balanced I'm here to help. Last week there were multiple positive SOO stories but you chose to post a story about NSW Police warning about crowd behaviour with all the negative connotations that has.

All week you had warm and fuzzy FB stories. Great. But I read a story about Tadgh Kennelly complaining about being a cripple due to 200 injections throughout his FB career and Patrick Smith writing about the pathetic standard of play in FB this year. On fumble industry there was silence.

If you have trouble with research in little Adelaide I can help. PM me and I can give your site the balance that it needs to send the viewership through the stratosphere. What you need is balance and fairness.......and I'm the man to help.

Good luck my friend and au revoir for now.

From Twitter:

SYD vs. ESS peaked at well over 500k in Melbourne alone (on Friday night).

That's just free-to-air.

Wow! Not surprised, still crying, my poor Bombers 😢

(Including other 4 cities & regional, it peaked at over 1.2m, excluding Fox Footy's simulcast).
