Re: AFL feeling the heat!
Lol smarter person .
They reverted back to their original system .
Not that hard to understand .
The only ones copying were the AFL
Who copied the ARL system .
No harm in running second. Again

Re: AFL feeling the heat!
Whatever...stand to be corrected but I don't think the ARL system was identical to that used by the AFL in terms of crossovers, but yes the AFL certainly modelled their finals system on that one.
However the NRL only reverted back to it after the AFL acted on flaws in their previous system. So my thinking is that the NRL followed the AFLs lead.
As for the bunker system, they are hardly the same (and what a glowing success for the NRL that is).
League is a ponderous game with lots of stoppages, so a central review for on field decision might work if your dumb administrators chose to implement it correctly. The only lengthy stoppages in AFL are when goal is scored or a bloke is knocked out. This is when it might get be used.
Original point remains though. Innovating is not something that the NRL does. Complacent organisation that is going the same way as Union. About the only significant one I can think of is Sunday Night GF and even this was a move out of desperation.

You really are missing the point aren't you.
Let me spell it out for you.
The AFL leads, the NRL follows.
There. I hope that's clearer for you.
Feel free to continue with your peurile tanties if it makes you feel better

Bhaaaaaa
You talk shit l I showed you up as talking shit .
So in true fumble style just keep ploughing on fumbling away trying to get one unco point.
Here's what you said & it's 100% wrong
Given the NRL has copied the same final structure
Lol

Re: AFL feeling the heat!
give it up FFS. The NRL returned to the way the AFL ran finals. So they copied the AFL irrespective of if they had tried it before.AFLcrap1 wrote: Sat May 27, 2017 6:10 pmBhaaaaaa

He's also right about your peurile tanties. You may think it's tough to carry on with 'fumblers', '********' etc etc, but all it does is show your lack of grey matter

Re: AFL feeling the heat!
reverted would be if you changed on your own. Copied is when you do it due to the actions of another

Re: AFL feeling the heat!
this is starting to become a joke...
If the ARL had the original format first.
than the AFL decided to go ahead with the same format.
Doesn't this mean the AFL copied the than ARL..(initially first?
just because the ARL changed the finals system and than years later NRL reverted back to it orginal format..
does not mean the NRL copied the AFL>>>
(IF the AFL HAD THIS FORMAT FIRST)
than I would say yes THE ARL/ NRL copied the AFL...

Re: AFL feeling the heat!
The NRL reverted back on there own initiative. The felt the original system was better The AFL didn't enter into there thoughts.Briandi01 wrote: Fri May 26, 2017 11:00 pmWhatever...stand to be corrected but I don't think the ARL system was identical to that used by the AFL in terms of crossovers, but yes the AFL certainly modelled their finals system on that one.

I read the other day that your mob are looking into an NRL style bunker system. So they must have a higher opinion of it than you.
The AFL has about 10m of stoppage time in every Quarter. While the NRL are lucky to have 15m in a half.

Rugby League, the dominant force in Australian sport!

Re: AFL feeling the heat!
Sounds like you don't even know your own game. AFL stops loads when one guys is stuck in a tackle and looks like one big confused wrestle.Briandi01 wrote: Fri May 26, 2017 11:00 pmWhatever...stand to be corrected but I don't think the ARL system was identical to that used by the AFL in terms of crossovers, but yes the AFL certainly modelled their finals system on that one.

As for inovation, is AFL who has copied Rugby League with golden point.
Is AFL trying to go international with an international cup nobody cares about.
They are only a 100 plus years behind Rugby codes and real football
