11 million last season from government hand outs?
that must be a special scheme the government has with the special aid nurses, to get the NRLOL fans out of the basement & to the games!
Australian sporting sponsorship
AFL excess of $50m
A league $30 million plus
ARU $27 million
NRLOL $25 million

for the total revenue recorded for the NRL, does that include the $50 million advance payment from C9 as part of the new broadcast deal?

Phil Rothfield Exclusive: NRL clubs lost a total of $53.4 million last year
The Daily Telegraph
February 23, 2017 11:00pm

NRL clubs lost a staggering total of $53.4 million last year, according to a secret financial document obtained by The Daily Telegraph on the eve of the season kick-off.

It is an embarrassing result for the NRL on the day of its own AGM where it will be revealed the head body also lost more than $2 million last year, despite a $50 million advanced payment on the new TV deal from broadcasters Channel Nine to help the Moore Park administration and struggling clubs

Lol
You poor simpleton .

Why do you ignore the afl handing over vast amounts to struggling clubs but then discount the SYd clubs who have the backing of their leagues club .
It's what they were set up for .

yes.
THE MAJOR REASONS FOR THE INCREASE IN CASH DURING THE YEAR WERE:
The receipt of a $50.0m advance payment in relation to the 2018-2022 broadcast rights
i realise that but the revenue listed for the broadcast money has been pretty consistent for the last 4 years of it, just looking at the break down of the finances the $50 million advance deosnt look like it has been inckuded

so in other words pissycat, with out the advancement of payment of the broadcast deal the NRLOL would have made a huge loss and that increase in revenue you were churping off about is highly exaggerated

given it hasn't been posted up here yet, & i do not spend my time trolling the internet, like you loons do, that is why i asked if its out :thumbleft:

Its included in the assets, and its in the cash flows, but doesnt seem to be in the revenues. Interesting.
Its Broadcast revenue for a contract that's starts next year.

The AFL takes out a 6 year broadcast deal, gets a loan of $280m and still ends up in the red by $18m [-( but but the NRL but but but.

Do you understand anything about money pissy cat! It's far more complicated than when your special needs nurse hands you your pocket money

Then nrlol took out an advance on next years broadcast money to make their finances look better than what they really are

The AFL brought a stadium, the land value of the stadium is between $1 to $1.3 billion. The stadium is an asset & generates money. That money is money will be classed as revenue for the AFL to keep

Since 2012 the NRL revenue has gone from

NRL 2012 185m To 2016 391m adding 206m in revenue in 4 years.

AFL 2011 382m to 2016 569m adding 187m in revenue in 5 years.

NRL more than doubled its revenue in that time. The gap is closing boys.

That's because it's come from such a low base. The only way the nrlol will raise their revenue much more from here out side of the non broadcast revenue will raise their ticket prices and get bigger crowds! Bahahahaha

The nrlol will never catch the afl even when not including the purchase of Etihad.
