Terry wrote: Sun Feb 19, 2017 9:21 amSo you're claiming Freemantle as outside capital cities are ya Fumbling Fred. Freemantle is listed as a suburb of Perth. It is 19k from the CBD. In contrast Penrith is 55k from Sydney's CBD, Cronulla 31k, Parramatta 25k, Wollongong 95k and even Kogarah is 18.8k. Are they outside the capital city Fumbling Fred??Fred wrote: Sun Feb 19, 2017 12:55 amTwo teams outside capital cities ? You sure?
Gold Coast
Geelong
Fremantle
The if you claim woolongong then could you not claim Launceston and Hobart given the games played there? And Canberra? That may be a stretch but would be interested in knowing the difference between say Hawthorn playing several home games in Hobart and who ever it is that plays games in woolangong apart from the history of the club ... in reality is it just the same?
Once again you've been shown up to be the base dill you are. To save future embarrassment I suggest you do a thing called research before posting lest you will forever have egg all over your face.

Yeh good one
To Fred
Its just common knowledge knowing the suburbs in your city.. in regards to distance
If the nrl put a team in perth doesn't that mean the nrl is more national than the AFL

I dunno fumble Fred...where do I start. If you want to be taken seriously here......and well....just about anywhere......you actually have to know something about what you're saying ...or in this case posting.......lest people think you're a dill!!!! I'm trying to help ya pal but geez it's hard work. Research, research, research Fred before posting will save you continued embarrassment. Good luck and God's speed!!Fred wrote: Sun Feb 19, 2017 4:51 pmI wouldn't know yo the klm how far each town was from the cbd? I might say about 30 or about 20 but not exactly

I don't generally research stuff on here unless something peaks my curiosity. Man if you need to go for it, whatever floats your boat and if you have the time. It's an Internet forum man lol. But hey each their own.

Well Freddy .
If you're going to argue on a fight forum it does pay to do some research .
It helps if you don't look like a clueless tool .

Re: Rank the Codes in NSW
You really think I would take the time to look stuff in relation to this forum. Seriously it doesn't mean that much too me. If someone wants to correct me as to fremantles proximity to Perth that's great. I think I would think of myself as a bit of a loser if I was researching stuff to post on here. My god, I'm amazed anyone does. This is mainly for shits and giggles and fill in time whilst in the car or on the shitter. I don't really care too much if one code is bigger than the other to be honest nor lose any sleep over posts. It's just a bit of fun.

Re: Rank the Codes in NSW
I agree with 1 and 5 but putting cricket in the mix is a bit problematic. In actual fact it's our only truly national game so could arguably be 1 in every state. For the sake of this thread I would put it 2.eelofwest wrote: Wed Feb 22, 2017 7:56 pmCodes in NSW

Re: Rank the Codes in NSW
Yes your right Terry if it was inclusive of Cricket then it has to be number 1 easily!Terry wrote: Wed Feb 22, 2017 8:37 pmI agree with 1 and 5 but putting cricket in the mix is a bit problematic. Re: Rank the Codes in NSW
Can AFL be really called a National sport when it doesn't have a National team?
Football in NSW
- Football 200,868
- AFL NSW/ACT 28,468
- Rugby League 96,041
- Rugby Union 40,685
Football has 22% more players than the other football codes combined
