I don't think people would care less if they built a 10000 seat stadium in Melbourne. There is only one transplanted team however whereas there is a big presence of Aussie rules in Brisbane with a girls comp taboot. Looking ahead it is feasible that a small 10000 seat oval may come in use. Preseason games for a starter could be played there.

AFL women's game coming up already on the news. Requesting people register so they can cater for it etc and telling people that it will likely be a lockout. Bad move in my opinion. We were going to go but now have decided against it as unlikely to get in.
