The Titans crowds were well up before Hayne joined .
Lol
& you rant about the Titans getting help from the NRl .
Yet the Tihuns have cost AFL house over 80 million since joining .
Lol lol lol
Thems the facts .
no they wernt they were still behind only untill the last few rounds the gold coke titans were ahead, due to them playing finals and the crowds jumping on the hain train bandwagon

the money from the AFL to the suns is what every club gets through the distribution money just like the titans get from the NRLOL, add in the fact it costs over twice as much to run an AFL club over a povo nrlol club.

as much as you try spazza you cannot change reality! so keep that fin foil hat on & sucking those lemons :thumbleft:
Lol still ignoring reality .
You rant & rant about the Titans getting $$$$ from the NRl
Yet when shown that the Suns get extra to keep them going you ignore that.

AFL season 2016: AFL tips in an extra $2 million for Gold Coast Suns

The AFL was forced to pour in more than $2 million in additional funding for the Gold Coast Suns in 2015 to cover a bigger than expected financial loss.

Documents lodged this week with the corporate regulator revealed the Suns made a $300,000 loss last year, compared to a $1 million profit in 2014.

However, the Suns annual report showed the AFL contributing $18.6 million in grant funding in 2014, up $2 million from the previous financial year. It also showed that the club borrowed $1.59 million from National Australia Bank in 2015, on a two-year term with a maturity date of June 30, 2017.

The Suns, who many pundits tipped to make the finals last year, slumped to 16th position in the club's first year under new coach Rodney Eade.

The financial report also revealed a $1 million fall in membership and ticket income to about $6.6 million, falling merchandise sales and a $2 million increase in employee expenses to about $22 million.

Lol
Words cannot describe the pig ignorant dumb thinking of dingbat
You can show over & over where the thiuns get extra help from AFL house
Yet that is fine
But when the Titans do its rant rant rant .

:(/ :(/ :(/
lol the titans were $35 million in debt after money from the NRLOL and their previous owners
it costs arount $40 million to run an AFL club over the $20 odd to run an NRLOL club.

you will find spazza of that $18 million over half if that is distributing money that every club receives. similar to what the NRLOL does to with its pathetic clubs :)))
Australian sporting sponsorship
AFL excess of $50m
A league $30 million plus
ARU $27 million
NRLOL $25 million

I think all AFL clubs get a share of revenue from the AFL. As they should. Not sure how much the suns get over and above this but have read elsewhere on here by more informed people than me that the figures quoted are musleading... possibly due to all money given being counted. But i will leave it to the likes the more informed and less biased here such as wookie and co to clarrify.

I also thought the nrl took control of the titans as they were a financial basketcase? Not that they simply gave them money?

Unless it's an AFL team. GC GWS. Cough cough .then it's fine

Says it all Fred. You are a fool. In fact you are a dangerous fool. Everyone beware of this ignoramous - he is poison on this site.

The Suns fumbleball licence is funded by the AFL. Fred knows this but makes out he doesn't. He is one of those lying obfuscating fumbleball zealots here - some of whom own, moderate and run this site.

Fred and the other fumbleball zealots here have morals, ethics and integrity lower than a snakes belly. The fumbling suns have massive problems on every front but the dills here won't tell you that.

Gee. I was just stating I did not know the AFL owned the suns? My knowledge of AFL is waning particularly when compared to others here. If AFL crap says the suns are owned by the AFL I would tend to believe him unless someone can show me otherwise. I do apologise if me stating I did not know something upsets you so much, particularly such a benign comment. Hope everything is okay though.

It's more to do with the hypocrisy .
Extra $$$ pumped into AFL clubs ..that's fine
NRl takes over running of clubs in trouble ..that's terrible .

It's the very same hypocrisy with GOVt money for new or updating stadia . AFL get $$$ ,,,,that's fine

NRL gets$$$$$ it's the end of the world .

Wookie who owns the lions .
Did the AFL step in when they were basically trading insolvent a few years ago

Theres a minor difference between the NRL taking over a team thats gone to shit - as the NRL has done in at least two cases (Gold Coast/Newcastle) and part of two others (St George/Wests Tigers), and the AFL funding the formation of 2 teams from scratch.

Your case would be better if you used the Swans who were taken over by the league in 1993 - for the third time, and are still technically not an independent organisation with the league still having majority voting power over board appointments.
So do the AFL own gold coast or not? The two peoplw who seem to know the most about AFL seem to be saying different thingd although still ambigious?

bahahaha youreally have nfi spazza
average AFL club costs $40 million
average NRLOL club costs $20 million
around $10 million of that comes from the both codes governing bodies through distribution money

AFL puts on a few million extra you mock the AFL start up clubs
every single NRLOL club in Sydney is running at a loss requiring the NRLOL, leagues club & private owner pump in millions
the titans had debts of $35 million plus & werre going to be shut down by asicthen the NRLOL commission stepped in

yes the GCS & GWS have the problem :-k

eg most NRLOL clubs still cannot raise $10 million dollars through membership, sponsorship & gate returns!

so nearly every single NRLOL club has less money raising capability than GCS & GWS :(/ :(/

a simple point you stuggle to understand
so to put it! they are worthless pieces of shit!
Australian sporting sponsorship
AFL excess of $50m

NRLOL $25 million

You have no fucking idea .
It's been explained over & over
Different setups for different sports .

In the NRl if your club loses money then if you're backed by a leagues club then that's where the $$$ come from
lol funny how all clubs are moving towards leagues/pokies clubs as a source of income .
But you just ignore that .

Those NRl clubs that aren't linked to a leagues club have Wealthy owners who tip in $$$$ .
Not a better set up
Not a worse setup .
Just different

It's been explained over & over yet you continue to ignore it .

Get help
Get someone to draw you a picture with crayons .
It seems to be the only way you can get your head around anything

So what I can gather, and please correct me if wrong, the AFL do not own the suns but exert a lot of control.

On another note I see they are getting Metricon ready for cricket which would add a hefty revenue stream for the suns if it goes ahead.
