bearing in mind the NRL deal also encompasses the NSW Cup, Holden Cup and Schoolboys competitions - as well as guaranteed hours on FTA tv, where the AFL seconds games are not included here.
And games aren't televised into there Selective states to maximise ratings .( 4 not counting Syd/Bris). All Friday night games are played in Victoria and more than 25% of your teams are banned from this timeslot - blah blah blah you've got nearly as many but but excuses as the rest of them. There's no shame in coming second, Embrace that Silver medal. Think about the poor Union and Socga fans . There probably in bed as we speak dreaming of silver medals

Errr, many Friday night games were in Perth, I think a few in Sydney, and certainly many Thursday night games in Adelaide. None of our teams get the free ride like the Broncos, and all to maximise ratings given they represent your entire second biggest market on their own. Lol
Each code has their unique advantages and disadvantages. We have more games but less rounds, a better home and away comp but no rep games, less games in isolation but more games on FTA. About the only true comparisons for both codes are isolated games like finals, and the overall revenue.
We win both
