Fri STV #NRL #FoxSports #NRLEelsSouths 182k = 976k
Another sub 1m FN game

Meanwhile the AFL had Fri TV #AFL #AFLCrowsCats @7AFL Seven 600k (Mel 419k Ade 181k) 7mate 146k (Syd 34k Bri 23k Per 90k) = 746k metro FTA
Add 248k for regionals (1/3rd metro) = 996k FTA
Plus ri STV #AFL #FoxFooty #AFLCrowsCats 352k [Biggest ratings of year] = 1.348m

Isnt that, again, the biggest rating home and away game of the year for both codes?
Still up 20% , A Silver medal =D> =D> =D> well done. You've got the silver medal also in Pay TV.

What's it like being the 2nd best?
Again we had a home and away game over 1.3m. Again the NRL had a game under 1m. Again the AFL smashed the NRL in an apples v apples payTV comparison.

Again the AFL had a home and away game rate higher than any NRL home and away for any season.

And all you come up with is how much your code has increased compared to last year. Whats that got to do with NRL v AFL? :(/

How can you keep peddling these lies Caitlan X......Man???? RL's average rating per game is 70k more than rabble ball for 2016. Thats what ya call apples v apples ya dill...........on a game per game basis. You can cherry pick any single game ya want but it's the total that counts.

What fabrications are ya gonna come up with to rebut that you discredited compulsive liar!!!!!!!!

Whilst it is great rl numbers are up, using percentages to compare between codes is misleading. Whether it be crowds, ratings or otherwise. If the lions went from say averaging 10000 to 15000 crowds and an AFL fan was bragging about the 50 percent increase in comparing to the broncos who say went up 10 percent from 50000 to 55000 you would think the AFL person was clutching at straws dont you think... Particuarly if the lions has moved inti a new 20000 seat stadium for example.
Another analogy of yours Fred that's all over the place. Our ratings compared with the same time last year are up over 20%. Regardless of whatever spin you want to put on it, those figures are great!

Mal, was the AFL's FN game the biggest rating home and away game of the year or not?

The AFL have consistently beaten the NRL on FN's, and Sunday afternoons.

How are these lies

Every Sudnay our single telecast across the country easily outrates the NRL.

Top 7 home and away rating games this year so far:

1, AFL rnd 7 FN 1.34m
2. AFL rnd 5 FN 1.322m

3. NRL rnd 1 THn 1.241m
4. AFL rnd 2 FN 1.215m
5. NRL rnd 5 FN 1.169m
6. AFL rnd 6 FN 1.139m
7. AFL rnd 1 thn 1.104m

So the AFL have had 5 of the top 7 games, and the top 2 are above any home and away game the NRL has dished up in years (probably ever)

Note the AFL have only had 8 rounds compared to the NRLs 10.

These results clearly show the AFL is number one on TV

last night the AFL smashed the NRL in ratings again. Think we had near 1m and the NRL about 300k

In 8 rounds the AFL has had 5 FN games rate over 1.1m, or 63%, and the NRL only 1 in 10 rounds, or 10%.

OUCH!!!!!!

Yes. I agree they are great. No argument there. My point is to use this as a measuring stick against another code is irrelevant.

Your list seems very selective. And includes all your ratings.

1. Australia v New Zealand 1.5/6k FTA

1. Parra v NQ 360 PTV

NRL up over 20% :thumbleft:
