Err...did you read what Hunt said. He basically said he couldn't handle the pace of the game and the discipline it required to maintain that level of fitness. As for the rest of your comment....well, delusional. I suppose you reckon Hayne is an NFL success too now.

Your measure of success is different to mine....

I really hope Hayne is a success, I really do. He was one of my favourite NRL players. Would be good to see another Aussie succeed in the NFL. And then to have the NFL scouts rip the guts out of the NRLs incredibly small talent pool and finally kill off a dying code.

"Marketing tools" = AFL fail of unanimous proportions.

Success on field = khunt received more dream team points or whatever that wanky comp is than several other AFL born and bred fumblers

Khunt got more playing time at the top level over three years than many born and bred AFL fumblers - he kept em out of the lineup

Izzy was lauded as having more promise than many born and bred fumblers. He just didn't enjoy playin so pissed off with the dosh

“In terms of the culture of going out and enjoying yourself after every game, that does not happen whereas in rugby league, because the physical demands are a lot lighter compared to AFL, you could find boys out enjoying themselves"

“I’m looking forward to the future. My body shape, genetics and all that will probably agree with me that I’m going back to a game that will better suit me.”

Khunts sentence before briandis 'selection'

“For most of the year you need to be able to knock out 12km or 13km on the weekend."

A Khunt comment shortly after briandi' s 'selection'

“Other than the running capacity and the ability to cover the ground like the boys obviously do so well in the AFL, I could play.”

Clearly the only physical demand khunt is referring to is trotting a distance similar to Sydney's City to surf in which thousands of local amateurs run it and run it quicker than the AFL lads could

That's funny!

When the ball found him, he actually looked half decent...could've been a good player if he could run, hand pass to a target, had some game sense or, apart from one fluky exception, could kick

Newsflash!!

Jarryd hayne is setting the NFL world and social media alight once more with anither stellar performance in his second NFL trial match.

He's making their defenders look like blubbery flat footed amateur hicks. It's quite hilarious. Americans are hailing his performance with comments like "world class" "he's a beast" "freakishly talented".

I just can't find similar comments about these AFL lads who wookie keeps harping on about having 'won' [*cough bullshit the team who spends time on the field won it] superbowls etc.

Can you find similar comments wookie? or anyone else?

Otherwise I think we should end this debate once and for all and collectively admit nrl produces much faster, stronger, more powerful, more agile and more skilful world class athletes than the AFL. It's just the facts guys, no need to cry about it :)

When he gets to take reps with the ones then we can get a better idea of where he's at, going against the twos and threes at the moment. Long way from making the final 53 at this point he's 4th on the running back depth chart, practice squad would be his best bet at this point in time.

Will make ESPN very keen to get into the NRL rights battle. Them yanks will love look for Aussie talent. Now they know what they've been missing out on. What an advertisement for our game. Rugby League will become King in yet another country. =D> =D> =D>
