Swans4ever, there was an article that was released a while ago about advertising revenue raised for each state. its basically who has the largest population gets the most, as the target audience is bigger. thats what makes the NRLOL's sponsorship money being half to what the AFL gets rather funny with League being the more popular code in NSW and QLD the 1st and 3rd advertising revenue

the TV companies when choosing to give out those rating boxes complete surveys then choose to distribute the rating boxes to which ever basement dwelling looser that watches the most TV during the week, so then the TV companies can then go to the advertisers & claim we have so many hundred thousand people watch out network,

ya gotta love how the ratings work for the NRLOL, apparently so many people watch it, yet they are never to be seen at games, their non broadcast revenue is pathetic & sponsorship levels are behind the AFL
