Yep pretty sure we have many old threads here on the Storm's financial handouts from the NRL which have resulted in their virtual dominance of the NRL since their inception. Yet like you say, league flogs will try tell you their comp isn't rigged. Only happens in the AFL apparently

Isn't rigged, but the AFL have given the Giants a tonne of concessions to help them become successful on the field. AFL see the Giants being successful will help them actually get support.

OMG you really are so insular arnt you - I coach an u17 football side - have the following nationalities, Vietnamese, Turkish, Maori, Aboriginal, Italian, Greek - I doubt whether it's AFL, RL, RU or soccer would be any different it's all the same - if you look at the crowd at a Richmond game plenty of Vietnamese in yellow and black eye etc - to think RL holds some special place in the ethnic community is just ridiculous what a pathetic argument!

Ive played footy in two states (vic, Sa) from under 14s with Kananook to senior footy with Hackham West, and there are people of all cultures. Just because it doesnt fit your fucking myopic narrative doesnt mean it doesnt happen. Played school footy in Footscray with vietnamese refugees and italian kids, played it in Frankston with african kids, played in Werribee with kids from New Zealand.

71 current indigenous players in the AFL. GIven the AFL has 18 clubs and 44 players in each club the number of indigenous players is likely to be a lot more than the NRL
