Waa waa waaaaaa  we don't even care. :?

So that's why the AFL spend millions each year promoting their code o/s to people like these Americans who take the full piss out of it?

Man the smack down the AFL lad got! And on public radio too  I wish they could translate what the Chinese were saying when the AFL spent millions sending some of its culturally ignorant head honchos on promo drives there a few years back. It'd be priceless!

haha, the major issue the yanks in this segment had was that AFL players wear less clothing, and in their opinion this is sexual. What a lot of homophobes. Other than that one guy liked the way the NFL had specific roles and a more organised game play. Where was the 'reaction' to AFL? No where.

Reminds me of a US show I watched comparing cricket to baseball where the show decided baseball was far more difficult based on complete misunderstandings of how cricket is actually played. Hilarious shit

 the guy representing Aussie rules IS a moron! He got absolutely smacked down from the AFL attire, the lack of structure, the lack of rules, the AFL punters in the NFL are laughing stocks, his southern hick accent etc etc etc it went on and on and on and he looked worse and worse and worse, much like the AFL lads in this forum

Get some fucking facts straight.

They dont spend millions. The USAFL gets an entire $40,000 from the AFL and Canada gets none at all - and its all for junior development. The AFL funds exactly 1 staff member for the whole of Europe - the number of full time staff employed overseas can be counted on one hand. The AFL DOES spend money on several overseas combines - Europe, USA and New Zealand. A surprising amount og overseas funding comes from AUSSAID and similar programs, but even thats not in the millions.

if you had for one minute talking to anyone running these overseas competitions and organisations, you'd know just how little money the AFL actually puts in. But you havent, and you've no fucking idea.
No you get ur fukking facts right me modbitch!

The AFL has spent millions on China, India, South Africa and nz for what? Jack diddly squat. They have squandered enough money on promo o/s to take several small island nations off the brink of poverty. It's been a shameful and unprofessional approach and nuttins come out of it really. Oh and while we're at it, how much yA reckon re AFL squandered on that dunderbrained contest which brought six or so random people from o/s on an all expenses 6month trip to aus in order to 'convert them into AFL fans'? what a fukkin crock of shit that idea was. But, in true ignoramus AFL fashion, the honchos down at AFL hq bankrolled it all the way! :_<>

I'm sorry wookie, but you're an admin now and Its not on how you've been misleading the membership with your pissweak lil rants of late that the AFL only wants to grow the game in aus and spends barely anything on o/s promotions. It's just goat shit champ

 firstly to the NFL, I'm afraid punters aren't highly regarded by NFL fans wookie. The vid shows it as does the fact they do nothing, and I mean nothing other than punt the ball and run off to the sideline. No probowl selection link makes up for this shite wook, please get this in ur thick skull and pronto.

Next AFL funding o/s. You'll need to provide a link to your supposed interviewing of the head of AFL India. sounds terribly dodgy the AFL would trust a man of ur Intel...but well actually when we look at Andy dimetrippedinpoo then actually you're prob well on ur way wookie! :D still give us the link or beaussie will have to delete the comment. Secondly, you've provided jack diddly info re o/s funding, just plucked a few orgs and institutions the AFL has leeched a bit on the side off. What a pathetic effort wookie! Hang ur head in shame. And you didn't even care to address that dumb "convert to an AFL fan" promo they ran a few years ago either. Did you come up with that one? come on now, out with it!

Ps beaussie? Get ur hand out of ur pants, this one hasn't even started yet and wookies lookin shaky already

What's the bet the Head of AFL India talks, acts and looks like the bloke in the youtube op? :(/

You've provided lil snippets of info to suit ur argument you silly clown.

My base argument is against ur assertion the AFL ain't spending millions o/s. You provided nada on exactly how much the AFL spend on o/s promos. Tho thanks for ur link stating in India
ABBC3_OFFTOPIC
AFL's participation has been limited. It has chosen instead to concentrate on building a support base and talent recruitment pool in China.
We've seen the youtube before, Indias running an Aussie rules program that is developing a quality of player who would be on a par with the marngrook skills of say a Clive Palmer or a Gina rhinehart  it's true!

And I'd say China, with the massive funding the AFL is putting in, would be even worse! :(/

Get something a bit more solid re numbers before you step back in my kitchen wook yA kniving misleading biatch, seriously.

The sport makes Australia look bad - makes you embarrassed to be an Australian - And the saddest part is the Yanks are 100% correct.

Look champ I'm not gonna bother going back and finding the sources I've seen over the past few years for your sake. I know the AFL is spending millions for no returns. And that reality game thing they were doing last year "convert a swede, an Italian a Canadian and about 7 other o/s residents by bringing em on an all expenses paid trip to aus for six months? add in the promo on top of the accom etc costs for that and you got another mill of wasted moolah o-s by the AFL

Common sense wook, get some bro ;)

"It was pwomotion by an AFL spwonser" :blahblah:

Now think hard now wookie. do you seriously think the AFL was in aome way disconnected to that revenue?

Jeez ur thicker than I thought bro
