GWS on PTV got something like 80k and and on FTA the Sydney ratings were about 20k for Saturday night. W Cst and the Qld teams were similar.

15k for GWS in primetime TV All to themselves on FTA
is just Pathetic..

I watched the last 10mins of the swans game on Saturday..
It was abit of drizzle ground was wet..

but wow is the ball really that slippery..
it was like they were throwing A Big SOAP around.
no one could hold onto the ball. lol, I may have counted 30 drop balls in 2 mins of play.

Simple catches no pressure (FUMBLE) Handball (Fumble) easy mark (FUMBLE)

what I don't get, is the commentators say nothing.. like its normal to drop the ball all the time. lol

the genuine leather football becomes very slippery when wet. Synthetic AFL footballs are far far easier to grip when wet

its called having an opponent. Your game should try it one day. Almost all RL possessions come completely unchallenged. Just a short throw to an unmanned player with no defender to stop the possession.

How challenging

Yeah, no defender to stop the pass from one unmanned player to another. Add to that the receiver simply has to retain possession if tackled, then gets another chance to get up and pass another uncontested throw again. Its unique to RL and makes it very boring.

In the AFL if a player is tackled with the ball they must release it legally or they lose possession. They also have an opponent immediately next to them most times who can punch the ball away or tackle them immediately, hence the appearance of fumbling

no, ive watched enough RL to see it plain as day. It is you who hasnt a clue.

Heres an example. https://www.nrl.com/ten-best-plays-of-t ... fault.aspx

Watch the first play (10th) and tell me how any of the passes are challenged by a defender? None of the receivers have an opponent when they catch the ball, they simply catch them uncontested.

Every other team ball game i can think of has a direct opponent who is permitted to be in a position to challenge a pass and make receiving the ball more difficult. In Basketball, NFL, Soccor, hockey, AFL, Netball, Gaelic football and other, all players have an opponent who can stop a pass

Your game doesnt
