He's not saying that the new roofing and stands will be for WSW games only wook. Obv every tenant will get to use the new facilitiesThe_Wookie wrote:Like it or not, thats bullshit. Upgrades will be for both sides, not least the one that has called it home since 1986.post_hoc wrote:The last time the eels filled the stadium was 2012, like it or not the only reason any upgrades are going in at the moment are for the Wanderers.
Why would anyone care what our resident liar says.post_hoc wrote:The last time the eels filled the stadium was 2012, like it or not the only reason any upgrades are going in at the moment are for the Wanderers.
One of the reasons is that the ground doesn't meet international standards. As the eels don't play internationals they haven't forced the upgrades we have

Can Redfern hold a big crowd now? I'm not so sure it could. Nice sentiment, but I think we have to be more practical.AFLsforPussies wrote:Is a shit place to host it. Should be at Redfern where alot of Indigenous NRL fans actually are. How many Aboriginals are on the Gold Coast. Did not see many when I was there. Poor ticket sales does not surprise me one bit for choice of venue.
Redfern holds 20,000, so would easily be big enough. And the atmosphere would kill any other venue in Australia.Foolproof wrote:Can Redfern hold a big crowd now? I'm not so sure it could. Really is that all, I thought it got upgraded. That would be too small then. I just don't like that Gold Coast Venue.
