Besides a south pacific or png only team the next logical expansion for the NRL. I don't see another Queensland team, nor Melbourne. I can't see a Perth or Adelaide. Any new teams will have to be outside Australia
Your a fucking peanut.

I must agree in the case of Perth. Brisbane - well they are talking about it and it will probably happen, but whether or not it succeeds is another matter. I agree with the comment elsewhere re the Central Coast.
Perth will definitely succeed, but not so sure about Brisbane. Central Queensland seems more likely to me. I just can't see Broncos fans jumping ship to follow another team. But I could be wrong.
Again

Perth
Brisbane II

Bronco fans dont need to jump anywhere
There are enough RL fans in SE QLD who do not follow the Broncos & in fact ... hate them intensly

This 2nd Brisbane Side
Will do quite well
RL SOO II 4.194 Million veiwers
RL SOO I 4.068 Million
NRL GF 3.968 Million
VFL Grand Final 3.620 Million
SOO III 3.364 Million
NRL Prelim 2.219 Million
Kangaroos V NZ 1.214 Million

Sookerwhos V Japan 238K

Would be a good rivalry. Like Manchester City and Manchester United in English football.

I hope the NRL pull their fingure out and finally decide who it is.

Yeah that would be Awsome!
A Game at suncorp each week too..

I wonder if they will go South West of Brisbane Ipswich Logan or a Brisbane Team..

Yeah The NRL have been talking in down for years... Waiting and waiting.. They were prob a touch worried about stuffing it up

IF there is another Team in Brisbane..
It will affect The Lions (AFL) that's for sure.

Central Queensland won't work, because the population base is too low. It needs to be about 20 percent higher to sustain a team in the NRL.

Just like the membership here needs to use 20 percent more of it's brain power to be considered a good place for ADULTS.

Yeah I've heard AFL struggles compared to league as it is in Brisbane.

Would be nice if they just went all out and put a team in Perth, Brisbane, Central Coast and Wellington. As who knows how long it would take for them to expand again after this.
But I doubt the NRL would ever take a risk like that.

wot they'll probably do is put a Brisbane side on playing either at home or away .. & cover it on FTA on Saturday nights
wether it be the Broncos or Bombers
to combat the VFL's sat nite coverage ....
playing a Sydney side will ensure it pulls a big audience
we won't leave our heartland TV's to the VFL on Sat nites anymore from 2018
