Alright, I am not sure if this belongs here, but I am sure a mod will move it if not. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone else was a wrestling fan here? And if so favourite wrestler and promotion. Thanks.

lol most wrestling is pretty gay..... but wwe is fake and just is sooo hopeless that it is funny to watch .... cept one guy hu actually ran in aladder and really busted his face ..... ouch!

I don't think you realise just how much hard work goes into pro wrestling.

I remember the ladder shot that busted the guy's face. It was Joey Mercury in December 2006 at WWE Armageddon.

Just want to bump this up for two reasons.

The first is to say that I enjoyed WWE Summerslam today. From 10am to about 12.45pm I was sitting in front of the TV writing my website report in the process (that's going up on my website tonight) enjoying the best pro wrestlers in the world put on the second biggest show of the year (the biggest being Wrestlemania). CM Punk beat John Cena, but lost the WWE title minutes later after Kevin Nash attacked Punk and Alberto Del Rio cashed in his Money in the Bank contract. I won't mention the other results, but that was enough for a start!

The second is to talk about local promotion New Age Wrestling (N.A.W). Now I can't say much about it because I have to be careful about the rules of advertising in here. But I can say that I am a commentator and stage manager with the promotion, and last Saturday we had a show and as a commentator I couldn't do my job as the commissioner kept the microphone off me. When I finally got it back after the match, he punched me in the jaw!

Personally I think pro wrestling is wierd. It's a drama play by big guys wearing underwear pretending to be scary and strong. It's riddled with steroid abuse and the acting is poor at best.

But, each to their own i guess.
