Re: Question on Styles
Do you chumps still want me to show proof of different attacking styles? Or do you admit to your own annihilation in this thread?

Re: Question on Styles
We are talking fans .
Tell me stupid .
Do RL fans need a police escort to the game?
Do extra police have to be rostered on to keep fans in line ?
Are there running street battles with rival supporters.?
Are there headlines shouting HOOLIGANS. about RL fans .
Soft cock lives in denial .
Go do your poo jam or whatever ,but leave kids & elderly diners alone ,let them have a meal in peace.

Re: Question on Styles
okay. so some different plays in RL.
You have your pretty stock standard 3 on 3. Fullback tries to chime in, creating a shift a long the line with a cut out to the centre who is now marked against the winger. simply draw and pass.
Add in some decoy runners which try to attract defenders also works a treat.
The bulldogs really mastered the usage of forwards passing in 2012. You'd have graham cart the ball up and then just before reaching the line he would pass to another runner, often perceived as a decoy. This created many 1 on 2s, which opened up the field through offloads. Bit of support play from barba and morris led to numerous tries. This has now been incorporated into other teams. I remember the tigers using a play which involved farah to woods (a prop) who would turn and pass back to farah wrapping around, another way to create overlaps.
Then you have your more attacking teams, with a bit of flair. The tigers were famous for this in 05, the warriors still are. This involves a couple of hit ups to get the ball rolling then spreading it wide to maybe your centre who makes contact and gets a short pass away to a winger/halfback sticking tight that can split them.
Dummy half runs and chip and chases are effective too. but won't go into that too much.
Then you add in things like the grubber which is very nuanced. Usually attempted from inside their 20. I'll use luke brooks as an example, im most familiar with the tigers players. He often shapes to pass out wide on the left with numbers there. He has several options. If he sees the opposition has marked up well (presumably because our forwards havent drawn in enough players on the previous play e.g. SOO 2 game winning try, aaron woods draws 4 in opening it up for trent: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TuVFABx_AMQ) he can shape to throw a cut out, and at the last second grubber in the opposite direction (right) for tedesco to swoop as their fullback will be pushing out to the wing in anticipation for the cutout.
anyway, bit bored of explaining this crap. but there's a few things that involve RL strategy. and you sure as hell will never see ANYTHING like these tries in some boring sport like soccer

edit: and then add in defence as well. e.g. roosters 2013. sliding defences versus pushing up. etc. etc.

Re: Question on Styles
so from what i read
1 team runs with its head down straight at the opposition via the forwards
and the other one wrestles those cloggers at the play the ball
