Players boycotting Channel 7
Pathetic if you ask me. Rather than deal with the issue of drugs in the AFL, the players and the AFL put their heads in the sand as if there is no issue. I saw an interesting comment on another website. How would the AFL, clubs and players feel if Channel 7 blacked out sponsor logos on the players, coaches and at the ground during their footy broadcasts?

haha do it i say!!! there would be an all out war! i dont care much for channel 7 and 10 i live in country victoria and their telecast is absolutely ridicioulos! we get a delayed game friday nite i think a delayed game saturday day then saturday nite we're sometimes lucky 2 get live footy if not 30min delayed n sunday we get a delayed game
such a disgrace!! i agree with you beaussie i think the AFL and the players need 2 have a good hard look at themselves! i mean people say the rules of the game are ruining football but what bout all this media crap ive hardly seen 1 good thing bout the AFL in the papers or news.

I actually agree with the players here. Channel 7, or anyone for that matter, has no right to access someones medical records. Ones medical history is not public domain, footballer or Joe Public.
I agree though that something needs to be done to address the drugs problem though. Andrew Johns has compounded the problem.
