AN AFL footballer is under police investigation over an alleged assault and robbery of a taxi driver interstate.
The attack, allegedly involving a North Melbourne footballer, happened in the early hours of October 12.
The AFL website is reporting that the player and a mate were picked up by the driver, who was allegedly threatened.
Demands were made for cash, which the cabbie refused to hand over.
One of the men is alleged to have stolen a log book and got out of the vehicle.
The men then assaulted him, took money and ran away, the AFL says.
WTF is wrong with these Victardians?
I wonder if the poor cabbie was of Indian heritage?,
