It's with some embarrassment that I provide you with this announcement
. As many of you are aware, I joined as a swans member this year in the belief that I'd get a chance to go to the gf. As I'm rarely wrong, that chance came and off I went to that unaesthetic city called melbs. My embarrassment lingers as I confess to you all that it was all a big mistake and I could have used the money for charity or some other worthy event such as foxy boxing. The gf was, in all honesty, a shithouse event. Shithouse because the AFL in their ignorance and childly enthusiasm to expand have dropped the ball on what matters most, keeping the competition on the field at an optimum level and providing an even playing field. Thus the AFL had another shithouse lopsided season. If I had a dollar for the amount of blowouts I'd be a wealthy man.
So my members, I must inform you all, as I did to beaussie last eve, I will no longer be spending inordinate amounts of my hard earned on such an inferior product, the AFL. No, it's just not worth it and looks as tho it may never be.
I hope and am sure others will follow my lead here.
