Yes, they play Australian Football in NZ. They have since the early days.
The level of participation has varied greatly.
Today the AFL is investing heavily in NZ and it's probable that the high level of participation will bolster those already playing.
AFL in NZ is ahead of rl in WA.

Funny stuff considering the WA Rugby League have a team playing in u18 national comp, they also have state teams at all age groups too, they also have a local competition.

All of these things suggests RL in WA is way bigger than anything the AFL has in NZ.

Bullshit, there are WA players in the NRL now, there has been for decades.

Errr not really - they are players who grew up NSW and then got offered a contract when their family moved over to WA for work - doesn't count as WA players. No there is only one legitimate NRL player from outside NSW/QLD! 100's of NSW/QLD players have played and play in AFL!
