Looks like the First finals are very evenly matched...

Only difference is the AFL had to use 2 mediums of broadcasts to do it...

Maybe, but if your peak audience was higher would'nt this mean that your bottom audience was much lower? during the epic 3 hour snore fest.

audiences vary across telecasts, but shorter telecasts are less affected. A 3 hour program with an average equal to a 2 hour average is a pretty decent victory, just not shown by averags only
