I'm not complaining about our game, I'm merely showing that both codes have disadvantages in the way they're scheduled. Yet you seem to think the only reason the NRL lost so badly is because they're hard done by.

Its does not matter what night you put NRL, if its Live it will rate its socks off plain and simple.

NRL coverage is inferior to AFL and the AFL still lags behind with 2 mediums FOX/7...................9 live on Fox 3 live on FTA 1 delay compared to NRL with 5Live Fox and 1 Live FTA 1 delayed till 11pm and the other delayed for 2 hours on a sunday arvo.

NRL with some many broadcasting options in the future its not funny.

NRL 135-145 Live Broadcasts Fox/FTA 80m - SOO1,2,3, Test match 67m
AFL 270-280 Live broadcasts Fox/FTA 80m 207 games a year

NRL Ave 67m/145 = 462k per game Broadcast 1 round left also....
AFL ave 80m/280 = 285k per Broadcast
AFL ave 80m/207 games = 386k ave per game

The NRL will pull even further away as it improves the broadcasting arrangements in years to come. =D> =D>

Now the figures might not be 100% spot on but i think you understand what i am getting at.......NRL is king... :thumbleft:

Stop your BS. The AFL doesn't show every game into every market, nor are they shown in isolation. Fact is they are still only 208 games on TV with only about 100-120 games being available to each viewer because as has been said 100 times, you can't be counted watching two games at the same time.

Strong ratings for the NRL last night, must be one of their best. Not even close to Coll v ess in rnd 6 which got around 1.6m

Our ratings for the Friday nigt delayed game are down 50-60% on the live game - Sunday, at least 30% on the live game. Certainly has considerably more affect than simulcasting has on your FTA matches plus you have near about 30 extra matches on FTA. So naturally, through sheer weight of possession your going to get more viewers at club level. But this is no achievement, and olny a very desperate - success starved person would consider it to be . Unlike achieving higher averages in both FTA and PTV.

Some pretty ordinary batsman have accumulated more runs than Bradman in there careers but they'll always live in the shadow of the man that averaged almost 100.    .

your average FN games have rated 600-700 for metro FTA and your delayed about 300-400, so that's a reduction of 30-40% as I've said. Certainly nothing on 50%. Where as showing two games at the same time MUST cut your audience into two. There is no way with that arrangement that the AFL would ever win the highest average because multiple games per week just can't be watched by every AFL fan.

You only have to look at the highest FTA and foxtel ratings games for every year. This year the AFL will win both, as it did last year, and it will win the GF as it does almost every year.

So theAFl has the highest rating games and the highest accumulative ratings. It is the biggest game on TV
