As I said before if I was trying to grow a game in a market where there is little interest free tickets are the way to go. If it were me I would have opened the gates and put massive adds in the paper. Why they would put them in done obscure website is beyond me so I say no genius.

Then they'll prob get almost half their stadium full. $1000 to all who are willing to attend a massacre and they'd get their stadium close to three quarters full.

so has many teams in NSW, even people handing out free tickets after a swans game at the SCG and still only 11k show up
