The only comparison is the score line and that was the only comparison I made. Agree the RL World Cup is a much much, much more professional event. Even here in Melbourne there has been no publicity for the AFL run event. Personally I agree its a joke mostly for using the words "World Cup" and drawing comparisons to sports like soccer. Although as an event its a bit of fun for players with a passion for the sport to come from their home countries to the home of the game they love and play to have a bit of fun.
