Sonny Bill Wanker and the Bimbos of League

Post by Grim Reaper »

I just love this story for today's SMH and of this wankers 'girlfriend' being forgiving and of his love for her.

Of course she is all forgiving as she has hooked on the money train! Name one of these bimbos of league who has walked out on their footy partners?

None as these bimbos of league would do that as they see easy money from these overrated 'heroes' and know that the only alternative income they will ever get is the family pension or child support.

Sorry Bill Williams

SONNY Bill Williams has declared himself "ashamed and embarrassed" about his drunken encounter with Candice Falzon - and still very much in love with his girlfriend.

Genna Shaw, 22, emerged from a week of drama to declare she is standing by the Bulldogs superstar.

"It's been a very tough week," she said. "I am hurt. But this can only make us stronger. It would have to make us stronger as a couple, wouldn't it?"

In their first interview since Williams's drunken night out with Bulldogs teammates at the Clovelly Hotel on Easter Saturday, the young couple say they are still in love.

"I'm speaking because I wanted Genna to know I was serious about our relationship," Williams said. "I wanted to show that I love her.

"Obviously, people are looking at her and thinking, 'Why is she staying with him?' She's the most important thing in my life. Football's here for a lot of my life, but I want Genna involved for all of it.

"I know it sounds so stupid saying I can't remember. But I can honestly say I don't remember anything. That's what cuts me the most. I think Genna knows if I had any sense about what I was doing, I wouldn't have done it.

"I'm ashamed and embarrassed. I've really let down all my loved ones, especially Genna. I'm glad she's stuck by me because this house is lonely when she's not here."

Asked why she was staying loyal to her man, Ms Shaw said: "Because I believe him when he says he doesn't know what he was doing or where he was going. I would leave him if I didn't believe that."

The couple went to the same primary school in Auckland and Ms Shaw was once babysitter to Williams's younger sisters. But they hardly knew one another. They only fell for each other after two chance meetings, including one after a Bulldogs game against the Warriors in New Zealand.

Ms Shaw moved to Australia and they have been together for almost a year. They live in Williams's five-bedroom mansion in Caringbah. Ms Shaw works for a real-estate agent.

Williams was drinking with teammates at the popular eastern suburbs hotel after the Bulldogs' 34-10 victory against South Sydney. It was his first drinking session in about five months.

"It had been my first chance to drink with the boys and I just got carried away," Williams said.

He said he was too drunk to remember what happened with the former ironwoman.

He said after the incident he was taken home by the girlfriend of Bulldogs forward Willie Mason.

Williams refused to answer questions about the night because he could not remember what had happened. At 21, he is considered the National Rugby League's hottest prospect. In April, he signed an extended $2million deal to stay at the Bulldogs for the next five years.

In August 2005 Williams was charged with a low-range drink-driving offence and following the episode last week he asked Bulldogs club chaplain Ken Clendinning if he thought he had an alcohol problem.

"He said he doesn't think I have a problem - I can make the same stupid decisions like any 21-year-old," Williams said. "He suggested that if I do have a drink, make sure I am with people I can trust.

"However after this I think I am better off staying on the waters."
