Dear dear members and guests,

It is with some regret and sadness that i write this post. It's definitely a bitter pill for me to swallow but swallow it i must... Earlier this year whilst playing basketball i had quite a serious injury to my knee. ACL and Meniscus severely torn...its meant i am no longer aloud to play twisting and jumping sports and...subsequently...i am no longer able to tell you all of and gloat about my on (marngrook) field exploits :(

It's been a tough few months going through the surgery and recovery process knowing that I'll never set foot on the field or bball court as a player again...a tough few months knowing i'll never be able to provide my on field success reports and watch the jealousy in you guys ooze out onto these hallowed pages... . However its looking like im healing nicely and will be able to return to boxing training so i might just do that and get myself into a few more amatuer bouts for fun, or simply ride, row and swim to keep myself in fantastic shape.

I'll leave you all with the knowledge that yes, my last ever game of marngrook was one of my best. Broke my wrist in the second quarter, yet played on setting up goals, getting plenty of quality possessions and scoring the best goal i've ever scored...all with a broken wrist. Scored myself four best player on ground points too!

Yes, it's something I'll never forget, how well and natural i played that sport...

But I'm not sure what we can do with this thread now. Perhaps we can sort of have it as a sortof 'Ask KE about footy' thread for those AFL fans of this site who have not played or not played well before and clearly lack knowledge of how the game works. I think that'd be good for blokes like phelpsy, nrlcrap1, TLPG, adam/leagueiscrap and others who really show they dont know the flow, essence and skills of the game so often on here.

What you guys think? :)
Bullshit.

You got asked too many questions so you make an excuse to say you won't be playing "again" when you never did to start with!!

You don't know the fricking game, goose, so don't try to convince us that you do!

NRLC, what's in dispute here is the level KE played. Even I admit that he played - or tried to. Beau's statement backs that up. But I do agree with you about the lack of empathy. Sydney Uni doesn't have to worry about his histrionics putting himself over as better than he actually was now. They can now concentrate on making a go of being a success in the NEAFL, and they lost no friends getting to within 4 goals of the Sydney reserves over the weekend. The Uni reserves thrashed North Shore in the Sydney AFL.

I think Eliagh asked Beaussie to say that and just for fun Beaussie played along with it.

Look guys help a brutha out. We can't allow this beautiful thread which exquisitely details my marngrook footy career right to the bitter end. No, I'd prefer you folks honour my ability to play multiple codes and to play marngrook for the Netherlands against France, as well as playing with a broken hand which btw was witnessed by beaussie, remember it was tough for me to lift my beer post match beaussie? Ahh yeah, those were the days.

Please guys, this thread is no longer for off topic arguments. No it's most appropriate if it's finished off with members either commemorating my careers, or not posting at all.

Wook, I'll thank you in advance for swiftly moderating anything contrary to my wishes above. Thanks dude.
