2019/2020 - A-League - Soccer TV Ratings

The first rounds rounds on FTA as part of the A-League’s new broadcast agreement with the ABC have rated as follows:

R1 - Western Sydney vs Central Coast - 48k
R2 - Western United vs Perth - 46k
R3 - Newcastle vs Adelaide United - 49k
R4 - Western Sydney vs Brisbane - 53k

Metro 66,000

the highest of the season.
which was helped with Matildas

LIVE: A-LEAGUE MELB V V WELL FOX SPORTS 505 37,000

Looks like majority of games are hovering between 30k - 40k

i expect a drop once Cricket Season kicks in to action in December with the Big Bash and Australian Tests.

With 5 rounds of the 2019-20 Aleague season now complete, crowds are down -4.68% to 297,732 at an average of 11,869. Foxtel ratings are averaging approx. 38k - down around 23.9% on the first 5 rounds of last season. ABC Metro TV ratings are currently averaging 52,500 per game

Jesus sokka & RU are not going to fare well with Fox next media deal .
Ratings are appalling .

Same with RU.
They will throw big $$$ at RL & fumbleball ..
Sokka has just about sunk into oblivion in this country .

FOX are better off selling the remaining deal off at any cost..

the amount of money being spent on broadcasting it would not = amount getting back in return.

so many more games this year, are not making the TOP 20..

Media week luckily are releasing the low figures games..

you are now in the league where alot of overseas sports are over taking the figures..

as in West Indies v Ireland beating the A League with 30k



(FOX i think gave up....

handed the losses to there accountants to work out.. over the next remaining few years.
