Yet the NRL has no sporting opposition and their game is in prime time for their home markets. That's not the case for the AFLs opener

Well sombody has to lead the way

got the excuses coming already :thumbleft:
Like how our opener rated more?
It's like this pal................we compare each opening round. Until your kayo numbers come in we won't know because it's gonna be very very close!!!! And in fact last night was a disaster for the fumbling game. Down 17%. These are the ones you gotta win big to have any show in the seasons total. It ain't lookin' good!!!!!!

Yeah, that's true. And the Titans may be in for a good season. The Bronco's on the other hand are an embarrassment. They haven't got one gun player in their entire squad. Whoever ran their recruitment the last 5 years should hang his head in shame. They've bascially got 3/4 of Qld to recruit from ffs!!!!!!

You see - if this had been played without the AFL on the other channels it would have rated a bit higher I think - particularly in Melbourne - as there would have been nothing sport wise to watch.

Souths are more popular team than Panthers on TV

TBH they're not brilliant numbers although kayo will take it over 1M. The AFL numbers weren't brilliant either but the NRL will get very close to it with Kayo.
