Melbourne have continued to rate well on Fox. When they were on Fta, the week previously they got about 80k.

Yeah Melbourne Storm Games do rate well on FOX>

comes down to more than half of there games are exclusive to fox.
so storm fans would need Fox to watch..

How many Storm fans are that dedicated they would get fox though ... really? If you look at the members maybe as a guide then that may be what 25000 or something ... those following the storm I would feel are mostly like me ... happy to watch them but Come second to afl and possibly many other things.

could say the same for the swans, luckily there games are all on FTA

Storm Games rate well its a known fact, usually the highest Fox Game Weekly.

theirs support there in Melbourne, just like there is support in Sydney.. Both a Niche.

I think Australian rules is far far far more popular in nsw and qld than rl is in Victoria or south Australia and indeed wa.

Storm games rate well nationally on fox ... I would suspect because Storm have been the dominant team and other teams love to beat them. There’s a real hatred out there for them. Maybe that’s why they rate well? I don’t think you can compare rl and Aussie rules when it comes to their presence outside traditional states. Not even close. I would say Sydney is far far bigger in Sydney than than the Storm are in Melbourne. By a mile. Aussie rules is actually a viable and well participated sport in Sydney... can’t say that for rl in Melbourne. Look at sponsorships, memberships, crowds.... as a startling point.
