Twitter didn't post many ratings this week. Rough estimate. Not to far short of 3.7m .
Rugby League, the dominant force in Australian sport!

Friday #AFL #Seven #7mate
#AFLTigersCrows
775k (Metro 599k Regional 176k)
#TVratings FridaySTV #AFL #FoxFooty
#AFLTigersCrows 238k
= 1.013m

#TVratings Friday STV #NRL #FoxLeague
#NRLPanthersWarriors 179k
#TVratings Friday #NRL #Nine/#9Gem
#NRLPanthersWarriors
National 537k (Metro 348k Regional 189k)
= 716k

So another HUGE win to the AFL on a single game v single game comparison.

And again I ask, when was the last time the NRL had a home and away game that rated over 1mil, because the AFL is getting them regularly. This is the true indication of which code is more popular on TV. The NRL's best home and away games just dont rate near the AFL's best home and away games on a consistent basis.

Of course pussy will chime in with some BS excuse like we dont play the Suns on Friday night. But this has nothing to do with lower teams. This is a comparison of your better rating home and away games

Geez, never hear that excuse before......except pretty much every Saturday when your game is flogged on TV in a one game v one game comparison.

Face it, this is just more proof that the AFL is more popular on TV. The NRL only end up ahead on cumulative figures because of the difference in scheduling, and their 16 hours of sport per round compared to our overlapping 27 hours

NRL TITANS V BRONCOS

I vote for this game so far..
to be the worst game of the season...

it was a shocking dull boring slow stop start of a match

the 18k that turned up should be given free tickets to the next game.

On paper they look to have a pretty good side. They just don't seem interested at times.

Our worst PTV ratings this years. Still better than half the AFL's though.

Good 'ol Wookie is back on the job with ratings. In short the NRL is up 6.5% on Fox this year & he's working on FTA numbers.
