well, I'm going to keep a head to head count this year. So far the AFL are up 2-0 for prime time FTA games.
So your finally admitting the AFL doesn't get the ratings/viewers that the NRL gets and you want to make up your own rules? :(/ :(/ :(/
Evidence does not back that up so far when the AFL is played against the NRL. It just might come down to that 3 week headstart.
Even with those three weeks we pay less games than you. We have our 30 players plus out for 6 or 7 weeks and still win the ratings comfortably , and have for at least the last 5 years. The evidence will back me up on that 100%
Rugby League, the dominant force in Australian sport!

you win the tally only, and only because you add SOO and have no games shown concurrently

Question: how many Friday night games do you thing the NRL will win this year?

The Tally? Ooh you mean the ratings from all matches, not just the ones that suit you and philosopher mate :(/

yes. The ratings tally that counts every match as if they were shown in isolation. Funny thing is theyre not for us, by a long way

So the NRL is 535k after 4 rounds, and the AFL is 400k after 1.

the tally that counts every match as if it was shown. You cant just invent ratings to suit your slant
absolutely. The tally is the tally. However the relevance of the tally, given the large difference in TV scheduling, is the issue

Its only relevant to people who want to make excuses.
It's relevant when pussy claims PTV ratings for games on Saturday are low compared to the NRL.

they are. and then you trot out excuses why.

anyway

Image
So you dont think its relevant that 2 AFL games are shown at the same time compared to a single NRL game? PTV ratings for the AFL are always far lower on Saturday and Sunday and the explanation is Friday is shown in isolation

You can just add two games together and claim they are the same as one lol
which is like saying 2 games are essentially only counted as one

Doesn't make for good reading. The only consolation is the AFL's ratings were down more .

NlolRL PTV down 24% on last year , what's your but but excuse there?

Yet FTA was up, and not all the 2017 regionals have been included. Funny how you pick and choose your figures, as usual.

As for PTV, I'd suggest the 4th test has effected PTV ratings for this weekend which is not a stretch given its rated decent numbers at the same time

You were missing as many regionals as you were last seasons opener, so think up another but but.

I do agree about PTV being down due to Cricket. So only down about 15% there
