Interested in seeing what impact the Sunday game has on ratings and attendances this season seeing as it's live on TV and has been moved back an hour or so.

Agree about the ratings, not sure about the crowds.

The NRL really does need to have a look at more day games, I love watching the footy on week nights, but it's a killer for crowds, should be a compromise.

Was 2010 the peak number? what was the figure in 2011,12 &13?

On a side note , the commentator said the three matches that NRL clubs will play in England have already sold out. - The gap gets wider every day.

meh it'll do, was a decent match, hope commish made a fortune out of the battlers, that's just plain wrong, better crowd than I expected

The way the media bashed the game for weeks leading up makes you wonder what their agenda is seeing not many if any bothered to mention the cost in their daily bash of everything rl related.. Oh how they're the mouthpiece of the people.

With 330,000 viewers watching the game live on SKY pay TV in the United Kingdom and another 1 million tuning in to a highlights package on the BBC, Crown got exposure in the UK the company would not have otherwise attracted.
