The AFL was two Melbourne teams, not a Sydney team. Plus they were on foxtel at the same time! last week the AFl rated 120k (foxtel and fta) in Sydney with the Gws and swans. the storm were live into Melbourne without foxtel coverage and got 26k

So how will the NRL ever rate outside NSW and Qld? It will always be up against the afl. Where are all these NRL fans across australia? You NRL fans have whinged for years about how your ratings would be better with national coverage. Now you've got it a grand total of 29k tuned in from 7million people!
