Nice work Raider =D>

So I'm gathering you tallied up all the numbers on Beaussie site here? If you did you might wanna add another mill to League just to cater for Beaussie's 'honest mistakes'

Fantastic news for League fans

E .. it also has to be remembered that the AFL has one extra game on FTA TV too... & have their games shown in prime time in 5 capitals to the NRL's 2 :?
a huge advantage to them
but the NRL is keeping pace most weeks & beating these boggerball wombats on amny occasions too
how is this possible ? 8-[

heres the numbers for last week with a few games to add for both
week 25 in the NRL
2,431,000

the AFL week 23
2,471,000

but..... the NRL has 2 big pay tv games to add ... the main sunday game
& the ratings bonanza .. Monday Night Game
so it will crack 3 million again last week

the AFL has 1 minor pay TV clash .. shown only in SA & VIC
& another unattractive twilight sunday pay game to add to their tally

they'll struggle to get to 2,850,000

my my beaussie
smashed the NRL will be by the AFL after all the figures are tallied
thats what you said didn't you ? [-X

hmmmm
not going quite that way is it .. :?>

geezus :-k

Throwball is manipulated to suit the interests of tv networks not the fans. Sad state of affairs if you ask me. The NRL don't give a rats about their fans just a manipulated fixture to suit the interests of their owners News Ltd and partner Channel 9.

yeah ... we don't give a rats
how dare we give people a game that will determine the finals tonight on TV ... I mean fancy those bastards putting on a block buster 8-[

instead of a nothing game as a result of a fixed draw that no one will or wants to watch

yeah , shame on the NRL

Yeah the AFL are a bit silly with their tv scheduled games. I mean setting all TV games befoe the start of the season, seriously. No wonder League kicks their butts in the tv ratings.

On the flip side, with all the crappy pre set games on tv, its actually a decent setup if you want fans to come to the games.

my point is manipulation of the draw benefits fans as well as TV stations too
NRL fans get to watch great match ups & like tonights game... one which will determine the make up of the 8

if the NRL had gone down the ludicrous path of the AFL ... & fixed its draw a year in advance
we may well have been watching the Titans V Parramatta game tonight .. & the Souths V Knights game could have been on pay on a Monday 8-[

bringing the big games to the most number of fans is hardly the NRL not caring .. as beaussie stupidly claimed

Ratings and crowd tonight are going to be huge. The envy of every other sporting code in Australia.

Raider makes several fine points in this argument. Whatever beaussie or kaskill say is junkie talk in comparison with Raiders well thought out, validated argument. And AFL Warrior? Well we all know that guy is in lala land and finds pissing in his pants comforting so you can basically view any post he makes in the same way as a massive grog bog. Just flush it, forget it and hope the stench dont stay around too long.

Raider thanks for adding intellect to the blah blahers and grog bogs amongst these boards =D>

the game certainly wasn't the envy of other sporting codes was it 8-[
thankfully it was the $2.50 crowd there last night so they didn't have to fork out a lot to watch that garbage

it will be outrated overall by the Knights & Souths on tv
so no envy there either
