1.32 Million watch the NRL Live on Friday Night 600K the AFL
:P
http://www.thinktv.com.au/SiteMedia/w3s ... 0_2011.pdf
819K in Sydney & Brisbane
508K in the Regionals
more then double the overall figure for the AFL
wow
call it off now
2011 ..as was the case in 2009 & 2010 & easy Victory to RL in the overall number of TV veiwers
the difference this year will be at this rate
it will be the NRL by itself .. without rep football that will beat the AFL
with the AFL having more FTA content then the NRL
geez
wot a code

Two live games of NRL manipulated to increase audience numbers in Sydney and Brisbane against a delayed AFL telecast of upto 3-4hrs where the lowly Adelaide Crows got smashed by the Saints. Really fair comparison.
How about we look at the round totals of the respective codes this season? Again, can you point out one week, yes any week where the NRL rated better than the AFL? Didn't think so.

well folks
no manipulation of the NRL's games this week on Friday night Live football ... no trickery .. no excuses from fumbleball fans about splitting games to increase ratings
with all of NSW & QLD getting the same games at the same time
only 1 Sydney side on & no Qld sides on at 7.30
Storm V Dragons
up against a top 4 so called " Blockbuster " in the AFL ..between Carlton & Hawthorn
huge build up in boggerball land ... oh this will be massive this one .. little vicky kicky fans getting all excited
& ummmm..... the NRL has pumped the bejesus out of the AFL
AGAIN

9 Nine’s Live Friday Night Football Nine 838,000 554,000 *** 285,000 *** ***
11 Seven’s AFL: Rnd 22: Carlton Vs Hawthorn Seven 726,000 16,000 465,000 5,000 135,000 105,000
838K for the NRL telecast in just 2 capital cities
726K for the AFL telecast in 5
a massive 554K in Sydney with just 1 struggling Sydney side on show
only 465K in Melbourne for the AFL with 2 top 4 Melbourne sides on show
Regional figures coming in , in the next few hours have the NRL game shown live across regional NSW & QLD at near 600K
the AFL .. well who'd know as its only ever a blip on the regional ratings radar .. but the usual 120 to 150K probs for them
overall
the NRL .. over 1.4 Million
the AFL .. 875K odd at best
the AFL handed its @rse on a platter again by the NRL
I've said it before
you now don't need a doctor for this heavy weight battle
you need a priest
