The 'ol scheduling excuse comes out early this year pal!!!!!!

And my data was not inaccurate or misleading. It compared fox v fox. And until we get definitive streaming numbers we can only compare what we've got.

your conclusion didnt take a clear move towards streaming into account. Of course you're a moron so you had no idea Kayo existed.....

fuck you're a moron. If 100,000 people have already taken out Kay more with weeks to go before the AFL season starts of course Fox ratings will be impacted. It's no more an excuse than not missing regional ratings

I'm a moron .oh Jesus
& are afl people the only ones taking up the KAYO subscription .
Do These mystery Kayo numbers only count in AFL ratings.

Yes you are a moron. I never said they were AFL fan subscriptions only. But Terry was talking about AFL games which are only available on STV so a reasonable proportion of those 100k would be AFL fans switching to KAYO

Your assumption is utter rot
KAYO shows 50 sports ..some major ..Soccer.gridiron Basketball ..cricket ..& AFL & RL
There's some not so popular but would still have fans .
& seeing as last time I checked on fox ..RL had more subscribers than AFL ....then your reasonable amount looks shakey
So out of 100k if there's 35k each..to be fair for afl & RL the rest is other sports( premier league sokka etc is popular) so if there's 35k subscribers ......how many would watch each game .
Remember there's 18 teams .so if each team had ..to be generous about 5-8 k subscribers then even if everyone of them watched .thats still a minimal amount of ratings .

Stop clutching at straws .

Terry made a big deal about a drop of only 10k. It's hardly unreasonable to suggest 10% of the KAYO subscribers would watch the AFL JLT. SOme games more, some less.

And this is preseason only. It'll be even more significant once the season starts, for both the NRL and AFL. That's unless streaming is now included in the ratings figures

it will be very interesting how the NRL and AFL hold up year on year..

with the RISE of KAYO SPORTS>>>

there should be reports of numbers in the coming months.
with more sports fans subscribing for the 2 footy codes..

FOX have high hopes for Kayo
so i don't think it will be long at all before we start getting numbers for sports via streaming..
maybe not this year though.

i think they should do with technology get within the 1k mark.
Streaming should be alot easy to calculate.

Also i think the with KAYO SPORTS> this will favor NRL figures.
as there is 5 EXCLUSIVE GAMES per week
especially with entry price level.

Every AFL game is on KAYO from my understanding, so I think it will appeal to both

correct,
Both codes have all games..

but with the NRL you can only catch 5 Exclusive games which are on FOX>

with the cheaper entry level, this will entice you would think more NRL fans over other codes.

as the NRL have more subscribers on FOXTEL>> you would think that would also translate
with KAYO Sports.

NRL should be number 1 on both.

NRL will have an advantage over SA and WA given they see their AFL club every weekend anyway. Vic subscriptions may be at similar rates to NSW and QLD
