Pay Tv Was built on Rugby League

that is what made Pay Tv what it is today>>

Over the last 5-10 years AFL Subscribers have caught up hugely

as this all changed when FOX got rights to all 9 AFL games..

Well done pal, good ratings. God knows ya need something positive in this dark time for your code. I've just checked a few numbers & it looks like the AFL will be down by over 200k compared to the Queens birthday round last year. That's comparing your code against itself year on year.

Not as bad as most other weeks this year so you can take a little positive out of the week......you didn't make any ground up ........but you did lose a little less lolololololo!!!!!!!!

We all know ratings are lower this year, no need to bring it up in every post

Yesterday rated far more than the NRL, and probably higher than all but 1 or 2 of the NRLs home and away games for the entire year. Add to that it was one of the biggest crowds between the 2 in history.

dont be a dickhead, I never said that. Yes our ratings are down, and probably will be for the rest of the season. I have not only acknowledged it, I've discussed it and explained what I think is the cause.

But not every matter on this forum relates to a drop in ratings. Not for anyone but you that is

Good question. You'd think they would be all over it as it makes their product look better for advertisers. I don't know if there is a problem collating the numbers but you would think Foxtel Now & the NRL game app could be easily counted.

I know that with a single Foxtel account you can watch different programs on 3 different devices at the same time but if you try a 4th they'll tell you you have maxed out on devices. Clearly they know what is being is watched so you would think they'd be trumpeting these numbers every week.

Yea I've asked the question on a few different sites & no one seems to know .
If you got Fox you can have 3 mobile devices registered to your home BOX
Any two can watch something at the same time as well as the home viewer.

So if im at home watching a game
& two friends are also watching the game on their devices (& Fox must know if being used) or if I've got a ratings box ....are the other two counted as well .

no idea but would love to know...

I am surprised FOXTEL need ratings boxes
and would think they could receive very accurate figures by this method.

The disaster continues. In what has been a slow motion car crash of a season the AFL once again recorded catastrophic tv ratings last night compared to the same game in 2017:

2017 FTA city 632k. Fox 249k. Reg 206k. Tot: 1.09M

2018 FTA city 416k. Fox 180k. Reg to come.

That is a massive 285k down. With regional to come they will be down 300k in ONE game. That is nearly 30%.

Gilty and the boys don't need to tweak a few rules.....they need a whole new game. The men's game has joined the ladies at the bottom of the cliff.
