so this is where is sucks in QLD - I have two games I want to watch on Sunday yet bascially on at the same time - Collingwood playing and Suns playing. This surely impacts the rating in QLD - for those who would watch two but can only play one - particuarly when it is collingwood with theit high supporter base.

if you look at the SUNS ratings in QLD as a whole, it is very tiny..
they are lucky to crack 20k with no FTA opponent and Free Air to Coverage.

so with Collingwood playing 90mins beforehand, it will have very little difference..
and it may even Help the Suns Figures.. by Fans watching the Collingwood game and enjoying the win with a few beverages.
and carrying that onto the SUNS game after.

so again, more people paid and attended the game than watched it on TV?
we see this with the Swans, Lions and Storm games in their respected home cities. any person that has studied or knows of statics knows that cannot be correct

Maybe in your travels Leroy - certainly not mine. Definetely there are pubs and clubs where nrl is on the bigger screen - but always still then AFL on a screen somewhere. And plenty of pubs where AFL is on the main screen. The Royal in Toowong comes to mind - have both on a big screen. Go to plenty of pubs on Gold Coast, and there are plenty that have AFL on - but more definetely have nrl. Port Douglas - AFL is the main sport up there - the central will have both on as many TVs but if there’s a clash always AFL on big screen.

im using the examples of the Storm in Melbourne and AFL teams in the Sydney, Brisbane and Gold Coast regions where the respective codes are the non dominate sport. lol
