Split scheduling and overlapping games really needs to be fixed by the AFL on Sundays.
Every man to his dog compain about this - there's an easy fix - so must be a reason the AFL persist?
the AFL usually do mutiple teams in different states in the overlapping of games.
So instead of watching Suns v GWS nationwide>>> which no one would watch..
they Do it around same time as another game... that goes into selected states as well..

Last nights Swans/Bulldogs 663k was the 4th highest rating #AFL Friday night game this season. (Consolidation probably change that) Friday nights for the AFL average 621k, down 3.27% YoY.
Thursday night #NRL 702k on Nine this week was the 4th highest rating NRL Thursday night game this season. Thursday night NRL averages 647k this season, up 8.92% YoY
Thursday Night #AFL on Seven rated 524k and was the 4th lowest Thursday game for the season. Thursday nights average 584k for the year, down 7.1% YoY
