The NRL continues to ..... embarrass ... the fumbles & stumbles in 2024 with the codes women now laying the boot into the tanktopballers
941K watching the NRL womens origin on FTA alone
the STV replay that night putting the total figure well above 1 million
the drops & oopsies game coming in well below that figure
561K on FTA
less then a mill in total when STV is added

Re: Footy TV Ratings - 2024
so how'd the fumbling game go up against the NRL's magic round folks ?
it bombed out
the abject average continued
after having its pants pulled down by our women on Thursday ,
Friday was ok for the drops n giggles , a draw , maybe a minor win over or loss to the NRL when STV is included ,
but thats where it ended
Sat was a bad night for them , just 360K watching a game shown everywhere except WA if 700K watched it in total with STV included id be surprised
The NRL on the other hand recorded its highest rating Sat game on STV in History , thats 29 years. The Sharks V Roosters magic round game was a ball tearer , what a spectacle .. & while there are no figures yet , it would have pushed the overall STV record set in Australia by the NRL in Vegas of 838K
But this sat record might only last 1 week , with next saturdays game between the Sharks & Panthers set to give it a shake
Ch 9 covered the last game on Sat & attracted 425K on FTA , over 850K when STV is included.
yesterdays game on 9 attracted 453K ... over 900K odd overall , out rating the AFL's 2 games combined on FTA at 412K
the 1st game of the day , Warriors V Panthers was an absolute thriller & wasn't decided til after fulltime with the Wahs hanging on , it was beamed back to NZ in prime time & based on the crazy good numbers coming from over there for Warriors games this year , would have rated its tits off
the NRL is an unstoppable force atm
just in time for a new TV deal to be looked at
the fumbling game in 2024 on TV
idk , its just not resonating... the poor quality on field... off field dramas ... lack of integrity generally .. its taking its toll
what do we think fumblers ?

Re: Footy TV Ratings - 2024
confirmed
magic round was the highest round in total for the NRL ever on STV , including the womens origin on Thursday & the other 3 ch 9 FTA games the round total was north of 7 million
7 million
the STV average for Magic round of 545K per game was higher then the total figure ( FTA/STV combined ) for the AFLs round just gone.

another one
![Cool ](./images/smilies/icon_cool.gif)
670K for the bumbles & stumbles , maybe 1.1 million overall when STV is added
572K for the NRL , over 1.1 Million when STV is added based on the staggering numbers coming out ATM
664K watched the Sharks V Roosters last week at 5.30 last sat during magic round , the highest rating 5.30 game ever on STV , that record is in danger this afternoon when the Sharks host the Panthers with up to 700K tipped
wow
the NRL , just wow

Beatup, are you a masochist pal??? Do you enjoy self flagellation? Why do you publicly humiliate yourself?? I feel your embarrassment pal.
FTA was a small win to the fumbling game. Once Fox/Kayo etc are added it will be another win to Australia's most watch sport.......RL.
Please take a bex and lay down beatup. You're cooked pal. Done. Finished. Kaput!!!!!

STV wouldn't have made up the 143K FTA difference in coverage , it would have been close but the feebles & misses would have won just.
they got over 1.1 million
the NRL just under

Re: Footy TV Ratings - 2024
Ch 9 Melb certainly doesn't want to cover NRL head to head against the stumbles n giggles down there , its burning ratings. But there would be a contractual arrangement with the NRL.
Just the same as 7 in NSW & QLD & them being forced to cover the local singletball teams on the main channel , just pissing money down the toilet
more proof there is no national sport & there likely never will be
