The roof on homebush is one of the most ridiculous ideas ive seen in recent times
for me
new venues at Penrith & Liverpool ( shared between tigers n dogs ) 2 x 25K all seaters
upgrades for Brookvale & Kogarah to bring them up to 20 to 22K capacity all seaters is the best plan for the code
yea , the plan to bring the ends in would have improved it a bit , but even thats not happening nowleeroy*NRL* wrote: ↑Tue Nov 30, 2021 2:08 pmOlympic Park seating need's to be redesigned to be closer.truthbomber wrote: ↑Tue Nov 30, 2021 7:13 amit changes every week as to which grounds will get a do - over or be pulled down & replacedleeroy*NRL* wrote: ↑Sun Nov 28, 2021 11:02 pmNSW government are looking to confirm that 4 stadiums will be upgraded in sydney.

putting a roof will look hideous on and half oval ground.
looks like it will sit in its current state with roof for the next 30 years...truthbomber wrote: ↑Tue Nov 30, 2021 6:15 pmyea , the plan to bring the ends in would have improved it a bit , but even thats not happening nowleeroy*NRL* wrote: ↑Tue Nov 30, 2021 2:08 pmOlympic Park seating need's to be redesigned to be closer.truthbomber wrote: ↑Tue Nov 30, 2021 7:13 am

true, a roof will put an end to any further " rectangularisation " of the venueleeroy*NRL* wrote: ↑Wed Dec 01, 2021 3:59 pmlooks like it will sit in its current state with roof for the next 30 years...truthbomber wrote: ↑Tue Nov 30, 2021 6:15 pmyea , the plan to bring the ends in would have improved it a bit , but even thats not happening nowleeroy*NRL* wrote: ↑Tue Nov 30, 2021 2:08 pm

which is a shame.
Its a waste ....
If it goes ahead all we can hope for is a roof improves the atmosphere by capturing the noise & trapping it rather then it disspursing away
lets hope it doesn't go ahead then , they're only talking about 100 million odd to do it , I have engineer friends who are telling me it would be impossible to do it for that little , around 300 million for something good.leeroy*NRL* wrote: ↑Fri Dec 03, 2021 10:29 ami find the atmosphere can be good with around 35k plustruthbomber wrote: ↑Fri Dec 03, 2021 7:00 amtrue, a roof will put an end to any further " rectangularisation " of the venueleeroy*NRL* wrote: ↑Wed Dec 01, 2021 3:59 pm

it is the distance from the field in all angles which is the biggest of jokes.
