Should Cameron Smith be able to play on Friday night?

Post by Beaussie »

Currently facing a two match ban for a grapple tackle. Should he be free to play and if rubbed out, what chance are the Storm against the Sharks?

I hope he is as I dislike the tactics often played by Storm and if it is not stamped out it won;t be long before someone's career is ended as a result of the grapples imposed predominately by the Storms ..... I hope is is not given lenience because of the world cup .... because Corey Payne's tackle was not as blatant and he got one week and SMith has already been let off this season

No way, you do the crime you pay the time..

He and the club should have thought about this prior to inventing the tackle..

2 weeks or the other clubs are ripped off..

His max charge will be two weeks apparently if he loses his appeal against the charges.... his defense is "it was in the spirit of the game"

spirit of the game ... thats a joke coming from an Australian rep player ... sets a great example to juniors across this country

don't be a softy you are kidding .... grapple tackles are pointless and dangerous

the other thing is that the Storm tactics have ruined the game it has now become a game of thuggery and who smash each other up the most while they slow the play the ball with grappling in tackles ...

bring back the excitement the speedters outta the ruck ... we need talent not thugs

As long as this continues NRL will continue to die we need the excitement back in the NRL who cares if they can smash each other up ... you can defend your line without resorting to them tactics

pfft when someone incurs spinal injuries as a result it will be that poor bugger that needs the ambulance... obviously a Storm supporter and the judiciary got it right

Cameron SMith out for the rest of the season while Jeremy Smith is suspended also and Hoffman out with knee injury ... ohh how sweet is karma
