Fianlas Round 2 - Broncos vs Storm??

Post by rosize »

Gee! It's been quiet on this forum. Has the behaviour of some Bronco players got everyone embarassed? I'm sure the Broncos would have been favoured to win this week if it wasn't for all the bad publicity. They are playing at home AND the Storm gone done by the lowly Warriors last week. Yet the Storm are a clear favourite to win this week. Isn't a week a long time in football?

Was a great second half by the Storm. Still can't believe the Broncos lost.

Moving on! The Sharks play the Storm this week. Sharks have won their last 4 games against pretty ordinary sides. The Storm have lost to the Warriors and Knights in the past month and only just scraped home against the Broncos. The Sharks will be fresh and the Storm are a bit battered. Go the Sharks!

I was wrong about the Sharks. Appears they were happy just to make the semi finals and did not turn up to play against the Storm. Hope they soaked up the atmosphere and now realise what a wasted opportunity they gave themselves.

At least the final between the Storm and Sea Eagles wont (I hope) be such a wasted opportunity. The Storm are $50K poorer, are wearing the underdog tag (with the media and refereees) and have some genuine passion. The Sea Eagles better not believe talent alone will win them the game......or they'll lose like Geelong.

Isn't it just one News Ltd subsidiary paying another News Ltd subsidiary, with the money sent back to the Storm through their NRL grant in the end? :|
