Why would anyone believe anything you say?

Fuckstique.

RL wins with regular internationals, state games and having juniors playing in schools, they also get sponsorships and have crowds turn up and are not full of expats.

HAHAHAHA!!!

in all honesty AR is of large importance in the sporting landscape australia and PNG. no other country with a significant population is worth discussing the game in. there are tiny pockets (few hundred - to a fre thousand) may play the game with a registreted club in some countries but to include them as success in that particular country is just utter bullshit and worthy of ridicule. AFL fudges its figures by including any student in compulsary afl sports program as 'AFL players' which is again bullshit and open to ridicule.

the exception. RL is os of importance to the sporting landscape australia, new zealand, UK. it has a smaller prescense but still large enough to be mentioned in France, the pacific islands, scotland, ireland. no other country with a significant population is worth discussing the game in. there are tiny pockets (few hundred - to a fre thousand) may play the game with a registreted club in some countries but to include them as success in that particular country is just utter bullshit and worthy of ridicule.

Australia has AR high on it's list of importance.
As you mention AR is of large importance to the PNG an is regaining it's prior position.

If you dismiss some of the other other countries playing AR then by the same logic you must limit rl to Australia, England, PNG and NZ. To make something of the other countries for rl then you're being deluded.

Where these other countries come into importance for AR is the potential.
Without going into detailed analysis as to why, both NZ and the RSA have the immediate potential.
There are a numerous of other countries that have the potential to supply the odd AFL player.
Then there are a couple of countries than have the long term potential to supply big numbers.

The modern era of AR overseas is coming off an extremely short base and doing extremely well.
I'm encouraged by this rapid development in AR overseas just as you'd be secure in the history of rl overseas.

However I have to remind people that AR has gone from being played around Australia to being played at an elite level around Australia and that the AFL now has some effective models to employ. Now that doesn't mean there could be some developments for rl but we'll I guess we'll have to wait on the English to do something for their game.
.
Nice try Cos.

AFL overseas???
bahahahahhhaahhhahahaaahahahahahahahaahhaha..

Png regaining its prior position

Rugby league has a huge participation rate in the junior level with every school in the country involved in a rugby league competition as rugby league is part of the school curriculum. There are 5,000 registered players between the ages of 12 and 18.

There are 10,000 registered senior players. They compete in 40 affiliated leagues around the country. Each league has a minimum of seven clubs and each club has four teams.

AFL
There are 1,920 registered senior players They compete in 7 affiliated leagues around the country

I really don't get why you keep pushing the international game when at every turn you AFL fans are knocking Rugby League for our international Scene...

Sounds like you guys want to feel what its like to play a true international AFL game against a real opponent and all power to you.
There is nothing more prestige in sport then representing your country, ask any NRL player what they prefer and they will tell you representing the Kangaroos in a RLWC or a 4Nations Final at Wembly or Old Trafford is the highlight of there carriers.

Uh uh! Eel if you want to be truthful, you'll know that Australian thguby players put SOO AHEAD of the Kangaroos! The reason is that they know it's no competition with other countries, whereas NSW and QLD is always ultra competitive! Any losses the Kangaroos have had have been a fluke.
